HOA BOARD MEETING

May 12, 2011

The Meadows at Northcrest Pool

Board Members Present: Dennis Foley, Kimberly West, Stacy Grear, Henri West, Jim Bellon

Management Company Present: Denise Hindes

  1. Call to Order – Stacy Grear
  2. Approval of Minutes – Motion made and carried to accept the minutes from the 10/19/10 meeting.
  3. Presentation/Updates – Stacy Grear:

A)Pool Status – The pool is scheduled to open on 05/27/11. The painting is in progress right now and will be completed by the pool opening.

B)Front Entrance Irrigation Leak – RDC is researching the leak once again.

C)Security System Maintenance Update – Denise will have the existing system inspected as well as get new pricing for an additional camera at the pool entrance on the outside.

D)Tree Removal – Denise will check with the landscaping company to see when they will remove the rest of the tree that had fallen near the pool common area.

E)Septic Tank at the Pool – We need to have a maintenance check on it to make sure it is good working order.

F)Tree Clean up at Subdivision Entrance – A tree at the subdivision entrance fell during the recent storms. It has fallen onto common area property. Denise will send the homeowner a letter regarding the clean up of the tree.

G)Garbage Disposal at Pool – Denise will check with American Disposal to see what rates they can give us for the trash service at the pool.

  1. Consent Agenda:

A)Motion made and carried to have the next meeting at the pool on 06/14/11 at 7:00 p.m.

B)Reimbursement to Martha Wiegand of $197.67 for Pool Plants – Motion made and accepted to reimburse Martha for initially purchasing the plants for the pool area. Denise has the check with her to give to Martha.

  1. New Business:

A)Neighborhood Clean-up – Discussion was had for an organized clean-up walk through the neighborhood. Suggestions were made to have a sign-in sheet at the pool when it opens for volunteers and date suggestions.

B)Vacant Properties – We have 5 or 6 known vacant properties in the subdivision.

C)Neighborhood Watch (Break-Ins) – Last week on Meadow Crest Court there were several break-in attempts. As a community we need to be on the lookout and be aware of activity in our neighborhood.

  1. Homeowner Comments:

A)Shannon @ 1125 Crestworth Crossing – He expressed concerns over loose dogs in the neighborhood.

B)Michael LaForge on Crestworth Crossing – It would be a good idea to have defibrillator at the pool. BCBS will give them away for free if you have 5 certified people to use the machine.

C)Willie Murray @ 291 Crestworth Crossing – Homeowners need to check their sump pumps for septic tank issues from not being installed properly.

D)Cindy Williams @ 1084 Crestworth Crossing – Do we have a list of people that we use for electrical, HVAC, plumbing, etc.
