ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT

TREATMENT SERVICES

Worksite Location:Hood River

Work Schedule:40 hours per week (Monday-Friday)

Salary Range:$11.00-$13.00 per hour

Reports to:Treatment Services Program Manager

Purpose of Position: Provide reception; provide administrative assistance to Klahre House Treatment staff, Alternative School Program staff, and the Foster Parent Program; oversee and manage all office procedures and other tasks as assigned by administrative supervisor.

Summary of Essential Job Functions:

  • Coordinate and implement office services and records management; maintain databases to track clients’ counseling and education services; utilize software applications such as spreadsheets, relational databases, graphics packages to assemble and manipulate and/or format data and/or reports to assist with foster parent pay.
  • Support Educational program; request incoming student school records; maintain current student records; maintain prompt communications with Hood River Valley High School regarding current student records; complete various reports for Klahre House Alternative School for the Oregon Department of Education; attend Teachers Meetings and assist school staff with special projects. Support Treatment Programs and Case Management staff including preparation for intakes and discharges, maintaining treatment services’ data entry, filing, records and documentation.
  • Maintain office supplies inventory through coordination of purchasing/ordering with other NDI programs.
  • Special projects as assigned.

Education and Experience Qualifications:

  • Prefer two years college and/or 3 years related experience.
  • Requires High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs including Excel
  • Ability to type 45 wpm
  • Experience in secretarial principles

Physical Demands of Position:

  • Must be able to type at a computer, sitting or standing, for several hours at a time
  • May lift materials/equipment weighing up to 30 pounds
