1. The meeting was called to order by Dan Sharpe at 4:15 pm. In attendance were:

2. Introduction of New Attendees – New attendees to the HDD Committee meeting introduced themselves.
3. October 2014 Minutes - The committee reviewed and approved previous minutes from the October meeting in Ft. Worth, Texas.
4. Old Business –
a. Drilling Mud Disposal
i. The committee restated the plan to allow contractor’s having problems regarding mud disposal to contact Dave Fisher who volunteered to assist in finding the correct solution based on the state.
ii. The committee talked about the research that Oklahoma State University (OSU) has been involved with. OSU has updated their research after collecting and analyzing samples of mud. They have collected 56 samples from 28 states.
5. New business –
a. Dan Sharpe introduced the 2015 HDD Committee Chairman Jon Heinen from Vermeer Corporation and Vice Chairman Dan Carson from Carson Corporation.
b. The committee discussed having a panel for the AGA workshop in April.
c. The committee discussed getting involved by drafting a position paper on crossbores, etc. Eben Wyman of Wyman Associates has a draft paper.
d. The committee went over the 2015 HDD Charter.
6. Kelvin Self presentation – Kelvin Self, research and development project manager at Ditch Witch presented a research initiative related to mud disposal at the July 2014 HDD meeting. He shared the updated research with the committee and was encouraged to attend a future HDD meeting.
7. Adjournment – The meeting adjourned at 5:15 pm. The next meeting will be held in conjunction with the Mid Year Meeting at Kingsmill Resort in Williamsburg, Virginia July 22 -26, 2015.
