Bona System with Environmental Awards at Domotex 2010

The Bona System will be the theme of Bona’s stand at the Domotex trade fair in Hannover 2010.At the fair, Bona’s most recent environmental innovations and awards will be highlighted. These include the EU Ecolabel for the domestic finish Bona Novia, the EMICODE EC1 award for eight of Bona’s finishes and a next generation dust-care system, Bona DCS 70.

-At Domotex, visitors will be presented with the latest in modern floor renovation and get both practical and verbal demonstrations of Bona’s recent innovations. Bona’s stand can be found inthe Demo Area at Hall 9, Stand C36.We are quite excited about showcasing products never before demonstrated at the Bona stand, says Camilla Bark, Marketing Manager at Bona.

For the first time Bona has more products than ever, with all ranges of finishes, adhesives and floor care products completely waterborne across the EU from December 2010. With a full range of high performing, environmentally sound products, the Bona System is unique on the market.

The Bona System covers everything the wooden floor needs throughout its lifetime be it sanding, finishing, fastening and maintaining a wooden floor. The system guarantees compatibility on every level, and includes the offer of Lifetime Support - worldwide support of sharing experience and expertise on how to maintain a perfect wood surface throughout the lifetime of the floor.

-At the exhibition, Bona will focus attention on some of the most recent environmental innovations, some of which have gained environmental awards, reveals Arne Wallin, Environmental Manager at Bona.

One of these innovations is the domestic finish Bona Novia that has been awarded the EU Ecolabel for meeting the highest criteriaagreed at European level. The finish revolutionises wooden floor finishing through its results on the wood, working convenience and environmental impact.

Eight other of Bona’s finishes have been awarded the German EMICODE® EC1 for their very low emission. The license EMICODE® is the registered and protected trademark of a classification system by which indoor installation products, adhesives and construction materials can be divided and identified, according to their emission characteristics in the different classes. Several of Bona’s adhesives were EC1-certified already in 1997.

Another of Bona’s recent environmental innovations is the cleanest dust container ever, Bona DCS 70. With superior design and a totally sealed dust care system,Bona DCS 70 actually gives out cleaner air than it takes in.
