Dear Choir Parent,

I’m sure your child has told you that we will attend the Breckenridge Classic Music Festival in April. Listed below is important information, a basic itinerary, and a payment schedule. The total cost of the trip will be $750. This amount will cover: transportation on charter buses, 3 night’s accommodations in a resort condominium, 2 day’s lift tickets, ski rental, ski school, and all contest fees. This price will not cover meals or souvenirs. As for adult sponsors, we have 18 faculty members and parents committed to serve. Unless we have more than 125 students attend, we cannot afford to take any additional adult sponsors.

Fundraising Opportunities

Concert Ticket Sales

All money for concert tickets that your child pre-sales will go toward his/her trip. So if your child pre-sales 10 tickets, then $50 will go toward their trip payment.

TriQuest Discount Cards – This is not a Power Card, it is very similar to the Passbook coupon book but it is the size of a credit card. It can be used for 13 months after it is activated and has thousands of discounts available to the card holder. This will be our most lucrative fundraiser for many reasons.

1.  Cards will sell for $20 and we will make $15 per card

2.  Card holder can save hundreds for dollars using this card

3.  Card holder will activate the card when purchased and will work for 13 months after activation. Therefore, if we sell cards this week, it will be good until Dec. 2017. If we sell cards next Feb, it will be good until March 2018.

4.  The card also allows purchaser to download an app so they can get discounts by simply using their phone.

We are really encouraging our students to sell these cards because it’s the best way to earn money for the trip. If a student sells 20 cards, a very obtainable goal, they will earn $300 toward the trip. Realistically, a student can pay for their entire trip with this fundraiser.

Spirit Blankets & Spirit Decals– We have ordered a limited number of custom made stadium spirit blankets for our students to sell. They are very well made and will be perfect for cold football, baseball, softball or soccer games. Our problem is, due to the price, it will have a very small and select market. The Blankets cost $39 to make because they come from China. We will sell them for $60 in hopes of making $20 profit from each sell. I only ordered 50 blankets to start with to prevent a large financial exposure.

Since we ordered the blankets, the company will send us 100 window stickers we can sell for $5 to $10 each. These will be 100 percent profit for our kids.
