SCFWI Holiday to Tuscany 2013

Cost - £1,325 per person
Day 1 Travel by Ridlers air conditioned Executive coach, driven by Iain, to Rheims via the Eurotunnel, staying 2 nights in the Holiday Inn. Dinner in hotel.
Day 2 Guided tour of Rheims including champagne tasting at Mumms Champagne House. Evening meal in Rheims restaurant of your choice.
Day 3 Travel to Hergiswill in Switzerland, staying 2 nights in the See Hotel Pilatus on the shores of Lake Lucerne. Dinner in hotel.
Day 4 Travel to Lucerne for lunch time cruise on Lake Lucerne. Free time in Lucerne. Dinner in hotel.
Day 5 Travel to Stresa, on the shores of Lake Maggiore, arriving lunch time and staying for one night in the Regina Palace Hotel. Afternoon free time. Dinner in hotel.
Day 6 Excursion to Borromean Islands to include visit to Isola Bella Palace and gardens. Travel to Montecatini where we stay for 3 nights in the Boston Hotel, having drinks and snacks on arrival. Candlelight dinner with Tuscan tasting menu.
Day 7 By local train to Florence where we have a guided walking tour then rest of the day free. All major tourist attractions are within walking distance including the Boboli Gardens. Return to Montecatini by train. Dinner in hotel.
Day 8 Guided tour of Pisa and Lucca by coach, then free time in Lucca before returning to hotel for dinner.
Day 9 Travel to Portofino (hopefully) for lunch then onto Lyons for 2 nights in the Mercure Lyons Part Dieu Hotel. Dinner in hotel.
Day 10 Guided coach tour of Lyons, then rest of the day free. Dinner in Lyons in a restaurant of your choice.
Day 11 Travel to Fountainbleu staying 2 nights in the hotel, welcome drink of Kir on arrival. Free use of leisure facilities. 50% off same drink between 9pm - 10pm. Dinner in hotel.
Day 12 Admission to Chateau de Fountainbleu with auto guide. Drive to Paris for Seine river cruise. Free time in Paris. Dinner in Paris restaurant of your choice or hopefully altogether in a restaurant.
Day 13 Travel home via Eurotunnel

Not included in price are 3 evening meals in France and return train journey from Montecatini to Florence.
Ridlers cannot insure passengers therefore individuals must book their own independently.
