November activities:

Halloween parade was well participated. 5k money was donated to Children’s Hospital

Nov. 15th parent visitation. Many parents visited the schools. Elementary honor society induction.

New student orientation successful

Student council donated to SJ Food Bank, donated many items and used some for holiday baskets

December

Holiday concerts at HMS, well attended and great performance

2/14 black history month celebration assembly about celebrations

2 visiting authors- one author will share their novel with each grade

Field trip tomorrow Larchmont/hillside/Springville in the spring the rest of the elementary schools

Students playing different pieces of music with different instruments and students are learning a lot in this multicultural expansion/exposure (Gu-Jung instrument)

Choir volunteers from HMS and HF for March Madness.

·  Coffee Carts- HF will be in the faculty room

HMS will be in the spring – maybe Mid to end of May

·  Wawa Coupon Sale – successful 1500 coupons sold to date.

A few issues going from office to student or teacher to student Maybe extend homeroom to distribute forms. We will discuss a few ways to avoid issues

Current/Upcoming Business

·  Dine and Donates – January- successful @ $256/Feb. 16th and March 7th upcoming

·  Pretzel Sales- success with the exception of December holiday parties interfered
