REGULATIONS FOR LANDSCAPERS

1.  We require a copy of the driver’s license, vehicle registration(s) and proof of compensation/liability insurance, proof of workers compensation or the exemption form and a copy of Nassau County Consumer affairs license.

2.  The workers compensation exemption form can be obtained via the internet at: www.WCB.STATE.NY.US

3.  All power or manually operated equipment may not be used earlier than 8:00 A.M. on weekdays: 9:00 A.M. on Saturdays, Sundays, or legal holidays.

  1. All garbage, refuse, cuttings, leaves, wood or any other materials may NOT be left on any public highway, public place or private property- said materials MUST BE REMOVED BY THE GARDENER.
  1. Stickers must be permanently displayed on the LEFT SIDE of the vehicle and license must be available upon request.
  1. License expires each year on the last day of March.
  1. Fees are $75 per year for first truck and additional fee of $50.00 for each additional truck or trailer. Lost or damaged stickers shall be replaced for a fee of $25.

·  Please Note that you are requested to perform your services during the week if possible and not to work on weekends or holidays except in emergencies.

·  You are requested to adjust power equiptment to the lowest proper sound level.

·  equiptment not immediatley in use must remain on the truck.

·  sidewalks and roads must be kept free of hazards.

·  vehicles must be parked at place of employment only and in the correct direction.
