Position: Guest Services Associate – Normandy Inn

Scope of Position: This position will assist in creating a positive guest experience through the execution of events at the Normandy Inn. This includes establishing an atmosphere of hospitality and operational excellence while meeting the corporate and specific needs of our guests at the Normandy Inn.

Reports to: Assistant Manager, Guest Services - Normandy Inn

Responsibilities:

·  Perform a variety of cleaning tasks, as instructed, to ensure total cleanliness and smooth operation of the guest experience at the Normandy Inn

·  Perform activities required for providing services to the guests of the retreat, including but not limited to greeting guests in the parking lot, assisting with baggage, guest check in/checkouts, room key distribution, guest information in Maestro, reports/programming, and restocking guest literature.

·  Ensure sufficient food, paper goods, and other inventory is available to execute breaks and meals at the Normandy Inn

·  Assistance with food preparation and table service, both at Normandy Inn and in the Great Hall, as directed.

·  Assist with load check-in, storage of product, dining room areas set up and break down, inventory and organization of the Normandy Inn

·  Perform additional duties and tasks as requested by Guest Services Leadership

Requirements:

·  High school diploma or equivalent preferred

·  Previous experience in food service, hospitality, and customer service preferred

·  Committed to being present at appropriate times to work - up to 30 hours per week, all shifts, all days

·  Willing to assist others whenever possible and put the success of the team above self-interest

·  Multi-tasking capabilities and attention to detail

·  Valid driver’s license required

·  Basic math and computer skills

·  Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs.
