Outline *** READ THIS!

You will in a group of no more than 2 people,prepare a script about a service or organization that affects our society or communityof your choosing (ie – antibullying, MADD, Teen help line. Etc.). You can change society or help someone with an effective message. Your script should be totally detailed with dialogue, background music, sound effects, Titles, voice overs, camera shots and director notes - whatever is necessary to your vision. Shoot exactly what you write, shoot numerous angles and cutaways to edit with. Edit your production to match your script. Hand in your script and the project outline and identify which computer has your commercial saved to it.

Criteria

Identify the need or service – contact them directly or research on the internet

What message do you want to convey and stick to it!

Create a detailed script – situational, informational or reenactment

Shoot the video as outlined by your script. Be aware of background sound and lighting issues

Edit to the script on Finalcut pro – save it with your name and project

Hand in script and project cover sheet

Save your finished commercial to the HD – Documents – GR 10

You can convert the project to an .mov file and burn a DVD or copy it to your USB drive

Expectation
