We Share in the Eucharist
The following is a suggested schedule that will assure completion of the program in time for the celebration of the sacrament.
**There is a PPT to accompany the lesson. The numbered slides mentioned in the lessons refer to it.

- Handout Books to students
- Remove Family Guide from center of book. Make sure to send home an email prior to let families know this book will be coming home. Explain to students this is to go to their parents.
- Have students turn to pages 4 and 5 in their student books. Read through page 4 and assist student in completing page 5, using the accompanying slide 1

- During this section of the book you may want to discuss with kids important meals they celebrate.

- This link will take you to a page with a wealth of ideas on how to teach the Penitential Act to your students. There is also a list of five wonderful actives (see one of them below)
- Cakewalk- Use paper plates for this activity. Write a line of the Penitential Act on each paper plate. Arrange the plates in a circle- like a cakewalk- with the words in order. While music plays, the children walk around the circle of plates. When the music stops, the person standing on the plate with first line of the Penitential Act starts. Each child reads the words he/she is standing on until together they have said the Penitential Act. Continue playing several times
