Participated in inter faith Polish conferences in Warsaw, Krakow and Lublin meeting with President of Poland along with cabinet, Arch Bishop and other various dignitaries.

CANTOR/Assistant Rabbi
Congregation Bet Haverim Davis, California
A temporary position to enable the permanent Rabbi of 13 years two 6 month Sabbatical periods over a two year time span. (This position was originally understood by both parties to be only a 2 year commitment. 6 months in to the 2nd year I was asked to extend the commitment one more year and I agreed to do so).
During the two 6 month Sabbatical periods:
●Responsible for all Spiritual duties including leading services, Teachings for Shabbat services, Festivals, Holiday observances, Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur services.
● 6th and 7th grade Teaher for B’nai Mitzvah working with the Hebrew school staff and B’nai Mitzvah tutors towards a more comprehensive Hebrew program.
●Worked with all Teachers on classroom music teaching skills.
●Created a new Hebrew school Siddur for all grades with accompanying prayer teaching c.d.
●Facilitated the Shabbat Morning Torah Study.
●Coordinated and led events such as Passover Community Seder, Chanukah Dinner, Community Candle lighting and service, Purim events including directing and producing Purim Schpiel, Megilla reading with Power Point and all other observances as needed by the membership.
●Responsible for counseling and meeting with members including conversion candidates,
● Updating and upgrading electronic and digital use in the office and generating press releases, publicity posters and flyers for events.
(Aside from sabbatical times, all rabbinic duties shared with Senior Rabbi).

Cantor
Congregation Beth El Berkeley, California
Cantor for congregation of 550 families officiating at all life cycle events. Coordinating and preparing 30-65 B’nai Mitzvah students per year. Primary teacher for 7th grade class. Presented classes for adults regarding Holy Days, Shabbat, and Pilgrimage Festivals (Shlosh Regalim), History of Jewish Music. Dual High Holy Day services, “Liberal” and “Traditional”. Coordinated all High Holy days Torah chanters. . Officiate Weddings, Funerals, Baby Namings, Brit Milah etc.
●Coordinated community B’nai Mitzvah program.
●Created and developed curriculum “TROPE FOR TEENS”.
●Taught 7th grade in Religious School, Trope, prayers and community building through B’nai Mitzvah program.
●Adult and Post B ‘nai Mitzvah program”B’nei T’fillah” for service lay leaders.
●Congregation’s first Adult B’nai Mitzvah class.
●Created “JOY OF SHABBAT” service. An alternative Friday night musical service recruiting various musicians from within the congregation.
●Taught Israeli Folk dancing at Family services.
●Baal Tekiah (Shofar sounder) for all services.
●Coordinated produced and directed Purim nights. Dinners, spiels, (with as many as 25 individuals), and miscellaneous entertainment for Purim.
●Created and lead weekly Healing service.
●Created and lead Yom Kippur Healing service.
●Directed assistant Cantor.
●Coordinated and participated in various concerts through out the community.
●Coordinated and participated with Scholar in Residence programs.
●Basic counseling consistent with typical congregational needs.
●Filled in for Rabbi at services multitude of occasions through out my tenure.
●Engineered and installed all sound environment in new building project

●Coordinated and facilitated program ideas on behalf of community.
●Working with Rabbi, Executive Director, staff and Volunteers created numerous programming and managed all phases from start to finish including recruiting volunteers from the congregation, publicity and implementation of programs. (I carried position until it became too difficult to manage both Cantor with the responsibility of the B’nai Mitzvah program as well as Program Director and we hired a full time Program Director).
●Participated fully in Capitol Campaign for new 35,000 Square foot Synagogue and Religious School building. As well as working with community and individuals to solicit funds for underwriting programming and events.

Brother and Sister are Cantors, we are 5th generation Cantors.
