Dr. Norbert Reich is the new addition to the management at MAPAL's actuating tools competence centre

On 1 October 2014 Dr. Norbert Reich (51) became a member of the management team at MAPAL ISOTOOL GmbH. Dr. Reich has a PhD in Engineering and has many years of experience in developing and managing technology companies. He will support MAPAL in further developing the actuating tools competence centre.

After Dr. Reich studied at the Ruhr University in Bochum he was then employed as a scientific research associate for several years and received his PhD in laser technology. At the technology company Heraeus in Hanau, he assumed his first management tasks, including the role of development manager for the English subsidiary in Cambridge. At Zwick Roell, a leading manufacturer of materials testing machines based in Ulm, Dr. Reich was a division manager and an authorised signatory of the extended management for sales, development and production.

Next year, MAPAL's fast-growing subsidiary will move from Sinsheim to Eppingen where a new production and administration building is currently being built. Dr. Reich will be responsible for the production and administration divisions, while Patrick Fabry, also a member of the management, is responsible for sales.
