2) ICSH Biennial National Social Housing Conference

4) Breaking Through: safeTALK

This training is suitable for anyone over the age of 18 who is prepared to be a suicide alert helper. It will prepare you to identify persons with thoughts of suicide and connect them to suicide first aid resources.

5) Senior Alerts Scheme: Regional Information Sessions

Pobal and the Department of the Environment, Community and Local Government are organising a number of regional information sessions to assist local community groups in the transition to the new arrangements for the operation of the next phase of the Senior Alerts Scheme (SAS). The sessions will give organisations an insight into the online registration process and the operations of SAS, there will also be an opportunity for questions and answers.

6) Ethnic Women's Stories through Crafts

This year the aim of the project is to run a pop-up bistro in the centre of Dundalk. The focus of this pop-up bistro will be the sharing of healthy food, recipes, stories and craft skills with the wider community.

12) Public Consultation on the IHREC Strategy Statement 2016-2018

The Irish Human Rights and Equality Commission will publish its first Strategy Statement (2016-2018) on 10 December 2015. The development of the Strategy Statement will be informed by a publicconsultation. During September and October eight public meetings will be held across the country and IHREC is encouraging participation, so that people can share their views on our goals and direction forthe future.

19) Tackling Climate Change and Harnessing Sustainable Resources: The Potential of Research-Industry Partnerships

This conference organised by the Trinity International Development Initiative, the French Embassy accredited to the Republic of Ireland and the France-Ireland Chamber of Commerce (FICC) is one in a series of consultations leading up to COP21 in Paris, December 2015. It will bring together private sector industry representatives and academic researchers to discuss collaborations. There will be a focus on developing innovative solutions for alternative energy sources and sustainable water use.
