Topic:

The holiday season can be difficult under the best of circumstances. Add to that the cloud of sadness when facing the holidays without a loved one for the first time. The holidays can provoke anxiety, bouts of depression, and other emotional reactions.

This workshop provides some practical ideas to help cope with the upcoming holidays and learn ways to commemorate the death of your loved one.

Objectives:

1.  You will gain ways to help yourself and others cope with grief through the holiday season.

2.  You will understand what a person should know about grief and loss.

3.  You will gain knowledge in ways to handle the emotions of grief and loss during the holidays.

4.  You will learn how to use rituals during the holiday season to remember your loved one.
