Principle of Clinical Medicine (PCM)

The number of hours you will need to complete for the M4 PCM course is 32. Please plan to complete half of your total hours by December 31, of fourth year. Grades for this course are pass/fail. Please also be aware that your final grade will need to be entered into Banner a minimum of 1 week prior to graduation, so please be proactive in completing your requirements.

What you need to do in your teaching session in order to receive credit:

  1. Make contact with your mentor and get written permission to teach a class.
  2. Create teaching objectives of what students will get out of attending your teaching session and what they will be able to demonstrate at the end of it (minimum of 3 objectives).
  3. Outline the information you are going to cover and the major points of the exam(s).
  4. Prepare a Power Point or some visual to go along with it, if necessary
  5. Teach the session
  6. Fill out this form
  7. Send objectives and completed form to Dr. Mukta Panda at
