PROJECT REQUIRMENTS DETAILS.

·  BENAZIR BHUTTO SHAHEED HUMAN RESOURCE RESEARH & DEVELOPMENT BOARD Office measuring 13,910sft approx at 5th floor, State Life Building No:3, Dr. Ziauddin Road, Karachi. The BBSHRRDB is planning to establish an efficient office with essential provisions.

·  The proposals are invited from eligible bidders to prepare a comprehensive project on turn keys basis ,which would included but not limited to below:

a.  Layout of rooms with size.

b.  Layout of furniture with size.

c.  Layout of conference room, corner meeting rooms.

d.  Layout of server room.

e.  Layout of reception and waiting areas.

f.  Layout washrooms etc.

g.  Layout of Canteen, Prayer Area, Pantry etc.

h.  Layout of Executive Blocks.

i.  Designs for Electrification, Main Switches, Networking, Security Systems, Fire Extinguish System, Intercom & Telephone, Video conferencing, Air conditioning and Plumbing etc.

j.  Identification of backup power generation equipment.

k.  Air Conditioning through splits with inverted compressor.

·  BBSHRRDB will refurbish existing office.

TECHNICAL SPECIFICATION/ SCOPE OF WORK.

a.  Designing:

The Schematic design must reflect the office space to accommodate the listed below.

Ø  Work Station 110-120 spread into blocks of 20-40. Each station to

have adequate files/document store space.

Ø  Plan to roughly places for MIS, Admin, Finance, BBSYDP and Board Staff accordingly to provided details.

Ø  Main Corridor Maximum 8ft, Side corridor 6ft wide.

a.3.A/C./ Electrification.

Ø  All Offices ,Work Stations, Blocks+ Canteen etc to have energy efficient wall mounted split A/C12000btuFor Directors)

Ø  Entrance Area, Kitchen, Stores, Toilet, Blocks, corridors etc to have exhaust fans and wall mounted fans.

Ø  Electrical wiring , Main Switches(Specification Pak Cable and Fuses, Switches etc must be best quality.

Ø  Communication Network, For all Offices, Work station to have intercoms 200lines PABAX and 12 Direct lines.

Ø  Furniture Complete supply of Chairs and Tables (Laminated and wooden) for Executive Room, Manager Rooms, Work Station, Conference Room, canteen and all other areas of the office etc sample to be approved.

Ø  Interior Decoration Board.

Ø  Cabling for Stand by Generator, Switch Board and Panel board.

Ø  Venation blinds on windows.

NOTE: Actual demand of offices/work station 110-120, However appropriate sitting space would be required for lower cadre staff as well.

The bidder must ensure that while designing all international norms/standards are to be followed and implement, all other ancillary infrastructure would be required and should be planned accordingly by the bidder. Ventilation, Open Spaces Should be kept as per requirement to avoid any claustrophobic spaces.

Minor variation in the design, will be accommodated/suggested after selection of the design by the bidder.

b .ceiling.

To remove old ceiling and to install new ceiling(Gypsum, mineral fiber, Aluminum) etc.( Cost Rs. 30 to 35 per sft with fixing.)etc. Its better to placed from pillar cap 6” down.

c. Flooring Work.

To remove old floor and fixing of Porcelain tiles along with skirting with cement and sand after leveling Porcelain /wooden as per layout.( Cost Rs. 70 to 75 per sft with placing.)

d. Paint Works.

All paint work which includes interior and exterior walls inside the building Matt Finishes/Semi Glass.

e. Electrical Works and Networking.

Best quality of wires & accessories.

f. Fire Extinguish System.

As per the State Life Building No.3 Code.

g. Furniture.

Complete supply of Chairs and Tables (Laminated and wooden) for Executive Room, Manager Rooms, Work Station, Conference Hall, canteen and all other areas of the office. Each work station and office to have adequate record storage space.

h. Partitions.

Setting up all the Partitions in Glass/ Wood/Concrete or combination.( 4” thick block/Hollow block)

i. Wash Rooms.

Renovation of wash rooms included provide best quality locally manufactured WC/Commode, Wash basin, Urinal Mirror and all accessories.

j. Doors/Windows.

Doors/Windows for Executive Rooms, Manager rooms, Entrance Area, Wash Rooms as per requirement (Glass/Wooden).The main office door to have also steel collapse able door.

k. Glass Work.

Plain/ Textured, Frosting to be provided.

l. Plumbing.

Complete plumbing work includes pvc Pipes, Fixtures, Valves, Sewage system etc.

m. Blinds.

Providing and fixing blinds on all interior windows as per standard of the office.

n. Kitchen.

Complete renovation and development of kitchen, includes Marble Tops, Kitchenette, washing area, Sinks etc.

o. Civil works.

Plaster and Bricks works as per layout and standard.

p. Interior Décor.

Suites as per office environment and standard.

q.A/C.

Providing and fixing of Split with invertors compressor wall mounted A/C energy efficient including copper pipes.

** Rough design of the office as a specimens is being provided.

BID GAURANTEE.

The Financial proposal Should be accompanied with a Pay Order 2% of the Bid value in the favors of SECRETARY BENAZIR BHUTTO SHAHEED HUMAN RESOURCE RESEARH & DEVELOPMENT BOA. PREPARATION OF TENDER.

All bidder must submit “Technical Proposal” and “Financial Proposal” on specified opening date / time.

Technical Proposal: Company profile, Copy of GST & NTN certificate and technical Financial Proposal methodology, Design etc.

Financial Proposal: The Schedule duly filled in, signed and sealed, Pay Order 2% of the BId value in the favors of SECRETARY BENAZIR BHUTTO SHAHEED HUMAN RESOURCE RESEARH & DEVELOPMENT BOARD.,

EVALUATION CRITERIA.

The proposals shall be evaluated as under;

I.  Technical Evaluation = 70%

II.  Financial Evaluation= 30%

CODE OF PAYMENT.

·  Completion Period = Three Months (From Award of work)

·  Two bills monthly, Payment as per work done.

Bill according to item rate to be paid with in Seven days of receipt and verification by the Project Manager.

·  Retention Money. 5% will be held from each bills as retention, money

to be returned Six Months after completion of work.
