Eligibility
Qualifying Learners
Aged 19 or over, who are either:
• Under consultation of redundancy
• Under notice of redundancy
• Notified by employer that they are likely to be affected by downsizing or company closure
• At risk of redundancy because of the vulnerability of their employer’s business
• Newly unemployed (within 6 months) following redundancy
Eligibility is based on the individual’s employment status. If they are employed their employer postcode must be in Cornwall or the Isles of Scilly. Where they are unemployed their home postcode must be in the Convergence area.
