Coshlea Newsletter:

Will have a Church Gate Collection on Saturday 25th & Sunday 26th of March in aid of the Parish Newsletter. Your support would be greatly appreciated.

Glenbrohane Community Assocation:

Pre-Easter Bingo in Glenbrohane on Saturday night 18th March 2017. Venue: The hall in Glenbrohane.

Eyes down at 8:30pm. Top prizes plus a raffle followed by a cup of tea.

The walk for Lent continues every Tuesday Night at 8pm from the hall in Glenbrohane – next walk Tuesday 21st of March.

Date for your diary - Pieta House Darkness into Light Walk on Saturday May 6th in Glenbrohane that morning linking up again this year with Mitchelstown.

Daffodil Day:

Coffee morning in the Day Care Centre on March 24th from 9:30am to 12pm. Your support would be greatly appreciated.

St. Patricks Day Parade/Pattern Festival:

Ballylanders St. Patrick’s Day parade and Pattern Festival committee are Winnie Mc Donnell, Siobhan Hayes, Mary Daly, David Noonan, James Keating and Liam Fitzgerald. The St. Patricks day parade will take place at 3pm. Anyone willing to take part in a float or walking group should contact any committee member. We are also looking for Stewards on the day. Live music on the street before and after the parade.

Ballylanders Parent & Toddler:

Runs in Ballylanders Day Care Centre every Tuesday morning from 10am to 12pm. All parents, carers, grandparents, dads welcome to attend. Ballyhoura Development CLG:

Yoga Hike:

Yoga and hike event on Saturday March 25thin Kilfinane. Yoga class starting at8amat the Church of Ireland. Transport provided to the Ballyhouras. Guided, gentle 2-3 hour hike to the summit of Seefin. Return transport back to Kilfinane.Cost is€40, discount price available to unemployed/ low earners. Sage – Support and Advocacy Service:

Are now recruiting for volunteers in a “Support Person” role. The role of a Support Person can include;

Helping people transition to a Nursing Home from a Hospital setting. Linking people with the services that they need; Befriending, PHN, Social Worker etc. Raise awareness of Sage and the service we provide in local communities.

Helping to build circles of support around the person who may need support. Sage will be holding a series of coffee meetings throughout 2017 regionally to introduce Sage and the Services we provide, and to explain more about the Support Person volunteer role. The next coffee meeting will be held inThe Limerick Diocesan Pastoral Centre, St. Michael’s Courtyard, Denmark Street, Limerick on the6th Aprilfrom7.00pm-8.30pm.
