New Hire Todd Burdell Provides Economic Forecasts, Operations Reporting to Staff & Agents
ST. LOUIS, MO—Sunset Transportation, a third-party logistics company (3PL), recently appointed Todd Burdell as sales analyst. The company, headquartered in St. Louis, is expanding its business operations as it continues to fuel its double-digit growth in logistics, freight and parcel auditing, freight payment and transportation management technology.

Burdell is helping Sunset continue to expand as a regional leader in third-party logistics (3PL) and supply chain services. He brings more than a decade of experience as an analyst to his role at Sunset Transportation. His responsibilities include evaluating current economic and market conditions, developing forecasts, analyzing operations and performance, and providing reporting to corporate staff and agent teams. He has a Bachelors degree in Marketing from Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville.
Burdell’s proven analytical skills result in improved operations and efficiency, enabling Sunset to better serve the sophisticated needs of its clients. Sunset Transportation recently moved into larger headquarters in St. Louis and was named as a Central Midwest Finalist in the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year awards.
