Please email the completed form to the appropriate Dean, who will secure signatures from the Affirmative Action Officer and the Provost. This posting is used only to gather applications from potential adjunct instructors, and will remain open so long as the department/program has a need for adjunct instructors. Applicants must update the application every two years to remain in the pool.

Position Description
The UNC Asheville (department or program name) invites applications for teaching as an adjunct instructor. To apply, please submit a cover letter and curriculum vitae. The cover letter should discuss relevant teaching and/or professional experience, the fields or courses in which the applicant has interest in teaching, and expertise and credentials which would qualify the applicant to teach in (department or program name). Other materials may be requested to finalize employment. Each applicant must renew the application every two years to remain in the pool of applicants.

Qualifications
Doctorate or master’s degree in (discipline) (or related field) (minimum of 18 graduate semester hours in the teaching discipline). Exceptions may be granted for candidates with exceptional professional and/or teaching experience.
