BOYS NIGHT OUT -- SAVE THE DATE!
Calling all boys and their special ladies, come on out and enjoy our annual BNO onFriday, March 24, from6:30-8:30 pm. This year it's at Branchburg Sports Complex which will include a ton of fun activities such as dodgeball, gaga, playmaze or laser tag (depending upon the child's grade) and arcade time!!! Moms, don’t worry about dinner that night since pizza and drinks will be served. Just make sure to wear your sneakers since the ladies will get a chance to challenge their favorite guys on the field! We hope to see you all there!!!! Be on the lookout for the flyer soon. Please note, this event is only for current CHS boys and their favorite lady.

KINDERGARTEN REGISTRATION -- 2/2 FROM2-6 PM

Please spread the word that kindergarten registration at CHS will be held onThursday, February 2, 2017 from 2-6 pm. Complete details on necessary paperwork will be available in the coming weeks via theFridayFolder. Registering your child early is the best way to allow the school time to plan for the incoming kindergarten class.

PTO CHAIR OPENINGS!

CHOOSE AND OVERSEECULTURAL ARTS ASSEMBLIES

The PTO is in need of 3 Cultural Arts Co-Chairs beginning this spring. This position is a great opportunity to bring art, music, dance and science to the school through cultural arts assemblies. Responsibilities include: attending a two day Morris Arts Education Showcase in March to preview over 30 different artists and performers. In addition, you are invited to attend a Cultural Arts Exchange in April, where you will network with other cultural arts representatives from area schools and discuss and recommend program assemblies. You will be responsible for all the details of booking the assemblies(approximately 3 per year),working with the Principal/Asst. Principal on contract details and schedules and coordinating all the onsite details on the assembly day. This position is a two year time commitment (2017-2019). If you are interested please ith the subject “Cultural Arts.”

5THGRADEALERT– YEARBOOK ORDER TIME!

Order forms came home last week, so check your backpacks.This year there is no extra charge to order your yearbook online, or you can send in your order to your child’s teacher via the backpack.Please see order form for instructions.And don’t forget to write a “Shout Out” to your fifth grader for the yearbook!Please seeattachments (Shout Out and Online Instructions) in this SCOOPfor more details.Orders and Shout Outs are due by 12/21.

SWEETHEART'S DANCE -- 2/12 @4PM

Come dance your way through Candy Cane Forest and Gum Drop Mountain!

All girls and their special man are invited to the 12th Annual Sweethearts Dance onFebruary 12thfrom4:00-7:00 PMwhere they will be treated to a night in Candy Land. Please be on the lookout for the RSVP form and volunteer opportunities in the coming weeks.

Have you ever noticed the bulletin board of pictures by the front office? There are a few volunteers that try to get to all the main events, but if you take a picture and would like to see it featured on the board, send a copy . Anything from field trips to in class events are welcome. As long as the picture is at a school event with only CHS kids, it will be considered. Thanks and say cheese!
