Provides low-fee/sliding scale individual counseling (non-faith based as well as faith based) to community members. Fee is based on family size and income. Session fees begins at $10/session for a trainee (a student who is becoming a therapist and works under supervision) and $49/session for an intern (someone who has finished school but is not yet licensed and works under supervision) and $75 for a licensed therapist. Unmarried college students who are living away from home on their own or on campus will be considered to be alone and only their own work income will be considered. There is no fee for services provided to relatives of military personnel. Accepts insurance if seeing a licensed therapist: Aetna, Cigna, UBH, Loma Linda University Risk Management as well as other major health insurance plans – except they do not take HMOs or any Blue Cross plans. They will verify and bill your insurance if you provide the needed information.
Note: Phone intake with demographic information, brief assessment, payment/insurance information and then Intake Coordinator returns call in 24-48 hours and schedules within a week.
Note: Some providers on the main referral list provide a sliding scale fee. However, they reserve a certain number of slots for sliding scale. Call to determine if they have sliding scale slots available at that time.
