1  Introduction

1.1  Overview

This document describes the enhancements and changes made to the FPDS-NG system in the software release for Service Pack 46.1. The Software Problem Report (SPR) tracking number is included for each change.

2  System Framework Updates

SPR Number / Description
FPDSNG-2942 / Several operating system updates will be completed for daylight saving time changes as follows:
·  Red Hat Linux - Apply the tzdata patch on all the Linux servers (Both Application and Informatica.
·  Microsoft Windows -Either TZEdit or Event CombMT can be used to update the DST timings on a WINDOWS machine.
·  Oracle - In the Oracle database the TIMESTAMP WITH LOCAL TIME ZONE (TSLTZ) and TIMESTAMP WITH TIME ZONE (TSTZ) datatypes and the TZ_OFFSET function take their time zone information from Oracle's time zone files.
·  Oracle JVM - Oracle JVM is installed with all our Oracle Database installations; Need to apply the DST patch for the JVM.
·  Big IP - Need to apply the following patch to BIG-IP HOTFIX-CR58321-1.0-1-BSD_OS-4.1.im.
·  Application JVM (JDK-1.5.0_04) Install the patch provided in the sun site for the JDK-1.5.0_04.
·  Informatica JVM (JDK-1.4.1_03) Install the patch provided in the sun site for the JDK-1.4.1_03.

3  Business Functionality Changes
