Drawing and Painting 2

Drawing and Painting 2 is an advanced art class for students who want to further explore and develop individual styles. You will explore a variety of media and styles; use multimedia; experiment and take more risks. I am expecting to see more individual style and imagery emerging throughout the class. This program is designed to help students create a quality portfolio and prepare students for the A.P. Studio Art level.

Reading, writing, art history, art critique and assessments will be incorporated into the class. Students will be required to record and respond to a warm-up question everyday.

The Excellence in Arts Portfolio and Cres Assessment (final exam) is 20% of your grade and will be recorded on the report card. Each project should be done as professionally as possible and can count toward your final portfolio at the end of the semester. An

Independent judge will grade and score your portfolio.
