A RESOLUTION adjourning the Senate in loving memory and honor of Andra Fitch.
With deepest respect and admiration, we pay homage and tribute to Andra Fitch.
WHEREAS, Andra Fitch was born on February 5, 1977, a native of Wilmore, Jessamine County, Kentucky, and traversed these earthly bounds on March 4, 1998; and
WHEREAS, Andra Fitch was the adored daughter of John Fitch, Jr. and Sandra Fitch; she was the loving sister of three brothers: John Fitch III and Nathan Fitch, both of Lexington, and Michael Fitch of Wilmore; and she also was the loving granddaughter of Betty F. Rothwell of Running Springs, California; and
WHEREAS, Andra Fitch was a graduate of Jessamine County High School; she was an employee of Morgan Keegan and Company investment firm in Lexington; and she was a member of the Wilmore United Methodist Church; and
WHEREAS, although we mourn the tragic and premature death of Andra Fitch, a blessing was bestowed on her family when the unborn child she was carrying was miraculously delivered by doctors at the University of Kentucky Hospital and placed in their loving arms; and Madeline Alexandra Fitch-Caudill was a healthy 6 pounds, 9 ounces; and
WHEREAS, the passing of Andra Fitch has left a void that will be difficult to fill, and she is mourned across the length and breadth of the Commonwealth;
NOW, THEREFORE,
Be it resolved by the Senate of the General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Kentucky:

Section 1. This honorable body hereby expresses its profound sense of sorrow upon the premature passing of Andra Fitch and extends to her family its most heartfelt sympathy.
Section 2. When the Senate adjourns this day, it does so in loving memory and honor of Andra Fitch.
Section 3. The Clerk of the Senate is hereby directed to transmit a copy of this Resolution to Mr. and Mrs. John Fitch, Jr., 504 Wilder Reynolds Road, Wilmore, Kentucky 40390.
