SMACK SEIZED FROM NAND NAGRI
ONE ARESTED WHILE ANOTHER ESCAPES
The Interstate Cell Crime Branch Chanakyapuri Delhi has busted a drug trafficking network operating from Nand Nagri Delhi. One person was arrested while another managed to escape after assaulting the police team. 300 grams of high quality smack was seized from their possession. The arrested person is:-
Om Prakash @ Kalua (40) s/o Nahar Singh r/o P-I-405, Sultanpuri Delhi – He has a past criminal record and has three cases registered against him at PS. Mangolpuri and PS. Najafgarh Delhi. All the three cases pertain to liquor smuggling.
The accused who managed to escape was identified as:-
Bijender (44) s/o Trilok Singh r/o D-2-376, Nand Nagri Delhi – He has 12 criminal cases registered against him at various police stations of Delhi. He has been booked thrice for drug trafficking, seven times for liquor smuggling, once for assault and theft and once for assaulting a police officer on duty. He and his wife Meeta both are Bad Characters and History Sheeters of PS. Nand Nagri. He started his criminal career in 1990 when he was booked for drug trafficking from PS. Nand Nagri. He was subsequently booked twice for drug trafficking by the Narcotics Branch of Delhi Police in the years 2002 and 2005. He is related to Om Prakash (arrested accused); their wives are sisters.
On 17th September 2007, HC. Dilawar developed information that both Om Prakash and Bijender were running a drug racket. A team was quickly constituted led by Insp. Jitender including SI. Akshay, ASI Devender, ASI. Rishi, ASI. Chiranji, HC. Pramod, HC. Dilawar, HC. Veerpal, HC. Bijender, Ct. Ved, Ct. Anand and Ct. Sanjay.
The team reached Nand Nagri. A decoy customer was sent over to strike a deal with Om Prakash and Bijender near D-2 Block Railway Line Nand Nagri. The decoy signaled to the waiting police team after striking the deal. The police team swooped down on the suspects and apprehended them. About 300 grams good quality smack was seized from their possession. International worth of the catch is about 30 lakhs. Spot interrogation revealed that some more smack was hidden inside Bijender’s house. However, as soon as the police team tried getting into the house of the accused his family members and friends assaulted the police team. ASI. Devender was hit on his head and the other members of the police team also suffered injuries. In the stampede Bijender was freed by his supporters and he managed to escape.
A case, vide FIR No. 802/07 dated 18/09/07 u/s 21/29/61/85 NDPS Act & 186/353/332/34 IPC PS. Nand Nagri was registered for the same.
On sustained interrogation Om Prakash broke down and admitted to the fact that he along with Bijender had been running a drug supply racket from Nand Nagri for the past 10 years. Bijender was first arrested for drug trafficking in 1990 at PS. Nand Nagri. They bought smack which was smuggled into the capital from Mohali, Punjab and sold it in Delhi. A large part of the consignment was sold off in Nand Nagri and adjoining areas while some of the contraband was sold off in Mangolpuri and Sultanpuri Delhi.
A massive manhunt has been launched for Bijender. Other persons involved in the crime are being identified. Om Prakash shall be produced in Karkardooma Court today. Further investigation in the case is on.

GANG OF TEMPO ROBBERS BUSTED
Special Staff of East District has busted a desperate gang of tempo robbers and arrested the following persons namely:-
1.Raju Singh s/o Madan Lal r/o B-339, Sangam Gali, New Ashok Nagar, Delhi.
2.Bijender Singh s/o Amrender Singh r/o Vill. Shahab Jada Tola, P.S. Rivil Ganj, Distt. Chapra (Bihar)
With the arrest of above accused persons two sensational cases of Noida have been solved and Leather(used for manufacturing leather jackets of export quality) worth more than 10 Lakhs have been recovered.
INCIDENT:
On the night of 16.9.07 few persons entered into the factory of ilga(Indian Leather Garments Association) with the connivance of the guard and committad the theft of leather worth more than 10 Lakhs Rupees.
On 17.9.2007 secret information received to ASI Manoj Kumar that some persons are trying to sell the export quality leather at low rates which they have looted from Noida. On this information a team under the supervision of ACP, Operation Cell Sh. G.L.Meena was constituted, headed by Inspr. Rajesh Kumar, comprising of SI Vinay Yadav , ASI Rajkumar,HC Nazir, HC Harendra, Ct. Yashvir, Ct.Jitender, Ct. Rajbeer and other staff and a raid was conducted and apprehended the above two persons from New Ashok Nagar and two button actuated knives , one Tempo and leather worth rupees 10 Lakhs have been seized.They have been arrested vide Case FIR No. 395/07 and 396/07 u/s 25/54/59 Arms Act have been registered against them in P.S.New Ashok Nagar.
INTERROGATION:
On sustained interrogation Raju and Bijender disclosed that they planned this crime with the connivance of guard Rajeev Ranjan and Avdhesh who were night guard at the factory.They along with their associates have committed several such theft/robberies in Delhi and NCR region. They further disclosed that they have sold Leather worth Lakhs of Rupees in Paharganj.
RECOVERY:
1.Leather worth rupees 10 lakhs have been recovered from their possession which they had looted from the factories of Noida.The recovered Leather was stolen from Saroj International Company and ilga(Indian Leather Garments Association).

DEBIT CARD SWINDLERS ARRESTED
Two debit card Swindlers (1) Prabhakar @ Ram Tirath Tiwari R/o 36/434, R.K. Ashram Marg, Panchkuian Road, Delhi and (2) Kuldeep S/o Chander Pal R/o 5/15, C.P.W.D. Quarters, R.P. Bhawan, New Delhi have been arrested by the police of P.S. Con. Place vide case FIR No. 561/07 dated 17.09.2007 u/s 380/403/420/34 IPC.
On 03.09.2007, complainant Sh. Gopi Nath Rajan S/o Sh.Rajan Narayan R/o E-203, 1st Floor, East of Kailash, New Delhi reported about the theft of his debit card, which got stuck in the ATM Machine at HDFC Bank, K.G. Marg, New Delhi. During enquiry it was found that somebody has used this card and withdrew about Rs. 50,000/-. During the scrutiny of the bank statement of complainant, it was found that after the theft of debit card, it had been used at two petrol pumps by the user. Petrol pumps were identified as M/s Irwin Road Station on Baba Kharak Singh Marg and M/s Sonthi Motors on Baba Kharak Singh Marg. In depth probe from the Petrol Pump, revealed about the registration number of the Motorcycle i.e. DL-6SP-4475 (Passion Hero Honda) and DL-7SAZ-5052 (Caliber – Bajaj). On the debit card swipe slips the registration numbers of Motorcycles were mentioned. Further, enquiry from the motor vehicle registration authority confirmed about the ownership of the motorcycles. Motorcycle No. DL-6SP-4475 is registered on the name of one Pawan Kumar, who is real brother of accused Kuldeep Kumar S/o Chander Pal. Motorcycle No. DL-7SAZ-5052 is registered on the name of Prabhakar Tiwari S/o Ram Tirath Tiwari. On sustained interrogation, both the accused confessed about their involment in the said case and told that on 02.09.2007 i.e. Sunday, both of them watched the complainant while he was using his card at ATM and when it got truck, they pulled it out with iron needle. On that day the ATM was without any guard. After stealing the card, both of them used it excessively at Petrol Pumps, Jeweller shops etc. Both the Jewellers from where the purchases were done have been identified as M/s Paul Jewellers, Main Market, Parhar Ganj and M/s Gauri Shankar –Rakesh Kumar Jewellers, Cheh Tooti Chowk, Pahar Ganj, Delhi. Efforts are being made to recover the items and money misappropriated by both of them by using the stolen debit card. The team who arrested both of them was headed by SI M.P. Saini alongwith Const. Ashok, No. 984/ND and Const. Ramphal, No. 1110/ND.

CHAIN SNATCHER ARRESTED BY ALERT BEAT STAFF
On the intervening night of 15/16.09.2007 at about 11 PM, one Raj Pathak S/o Vishwanath R/o WZ -28-C, Main Market, Shakarpur Delhi age 21 years, snatched a gold chain from Smt. Bipasha Ray W/o Sh. Neeraj Ray R/o A-44, Shivalik, Malviya Nagar, New Delhi age 42 years, while she was coming out of a Hotel along with her family. She along with her husband raised a cry to apprehend the running accused. The accused Raj Pathak mentioned above was apprehended at a short distance by local beat patrolling party consisting of HC Manmohan No. 351/ND, Ct. Mahinder No. 315/ND, Ct. Ran Singh No. 368/ND and Jitender Singh No. 800/ND. The snatched chain was recovered from the possession of the accused and he was arrested. The accused hails from Distt. Gopal Ganj, Bihar and came to Delhi two years back in search of a job. The chain has been deposited at P.S. Malkhana after sealing. A case FIR No. 565/07 dated 16.09.2007 u/s 379/356/411 IPC has been registered at P.S Con. Place, New Delhi, on the statement of the complainant i.e. Smt. Bipasha Ray is being investigated by ASI Anant Singh.

SONU SUNNY GANG BUSTED
With the arrest of one Satyawan @ Sonu S/o Rajbir Singh R/o Jhuggi Raghubir Nagar, Delhi, aged 18 years and Sunil @ Sunny s/o Suresh Kumar r/o as above aged 22 years, PS Dwarka has solved several sensational cases of chain snatchings. On 16.9.2007 one Smt. Manju Saini r/o Sector-4, Dwarka had reported that while she along with her husband was going to her house after taking milk from Mother Dairy Booth Sec-4, Dwarka. Two youngsters on a motorbike had snatched her golden chain and fled away. A case vide FIR No. 890/07 dated 16.9.2007 U/s 379/356/34 IPC was got registered in this regard and a massive hunt was made for the criminals on the basis available descriptions of the duo and motorcycle. The search of such youngsters riding on the motorcycle were made and ultimately police had succeed in nabbing the accused persons during checking in the area.
During thorough interrogation both snatchers have been found involved in several sensational cases of chain snatching of Dwarka and other adjoining area. The motorcycle bearing Regd. No. DL-9S-A8189 make Yamah Rx 100 has been recovered from their possession. The following cases have been solved with their arrest.

1)Satyawan @ Sonu has left his study in the childhood and presently he is unemployed. He started committing snatchings to fulfill his desires and expenses.
2)Sunil @ Sunny is also unemployed and had studied up to primary class only. Thereafter he fell in bad society and started to commit snatchings.

SENSATIONAL KIDNAPPING-CUM-MURDER OF DRIVER SOLVED
INTER STATE CRIMINALS ARRESTED
South-West District police have successfully solved kidnapping-cum-murder case of driver Arjun Rajak by arresting (1) Sandeep (2) Rishi and (3) Pradeep all r/o VPO-Khairi Sanpla, PS Sanpla, Distt. Rohtak, Haryana and also recovered the robbed Tata Indigo Car No. HR-26-AJ-5447.
incident:
On 03/09/07, one Sukhbir Singh informed that his driver one Arjun Rajak who had gone to drop a passenger at Dilshad Garden from Gurgaon by car was missing since 31/08/07. Later it was found that the missing car was intercepted at Laxman Jhulla (Uttrakhand) where it was being driven by one Sandeep. A team was immediately sent to Laxman Jhulla.
INVESTIGATION
During the course of investigation of case FIR No.642/07 U/s 365/392/34 IPC P.S.V.Kunj it revealed that Sandeep along with 3 other associates namely Sonu, Manish & Rishi all r/o Vill. Kheri Sanpla, Distt Rohtak, Haryana took lift from the driver of the car at Dhaula Kuan. When the car reached in front of Ever Green Garden, Kapashera, they forcibly robbed the car from the driver. Sandeep then forced the driver to sit at the back and started driving the car and took the driver along with them to Rohtak. There Sandeep and his associates namely Rishi, Manish & Sonu murdered the driver and the dead body was thrown in drain No. 8 at Gohana Rohtak Road Haryana. Later they were joined by Pradeep and Deepak and all of them went to Haridwar where Sandeep was apprehended by the local police where they picked up a fight with a tea vendor over payment.
Special teams of Police Station Vasant Kunj and Spl. Staff were formed to apprehend the remaining accused and raids were conducted. Rishi and Pradeep were apprehended from Railway Station Sampla and Taxi Stand Sampla respectively. Body of the car driver Arjun Rajak was recovered from the spot where it was thrown by them and accordingly section i.e. 302/201/120-B IPC were added. The mobile of he deceased has been recovered from the shop where it was sold in Haridwar. Remaining accused persons namely Sonu, Deepak & Manish are still absconding.
PROFILE:- Sandeep was the mastermind behind the story as he had worked as driver in Daksh Call Centre, Gurgaon and was well aware about the topography of roads/ area of Delhi and Haryana, Whereas Pradeep & Rishi belongs to a middle class Family. They belong to the same village and are known to each other. They had hatched this plan to rob a vehicle to earn easy money.

DACOITY cum MURDER CASE SOLVED
- FOUR ACCUSED ALONG WITH THREE RECEIVERS OF STOLEN PROPERTY ARRESTED.
- 50 ALUMINUM PLATES,2 BAGS OF FINISHED GOODS, ONE IRON ROD AND ONE SWORD RECOVERED
South West District Police have succeeded in arresting four accused along with the three receivers of stolen property involved in the case of decoity cum murder and recovered the booty from their possession.
At about 2 PM in the night of 11.9.07 four-five armed persons forcefully entered in factory No. C-274 and threatened the workers to stop the machines and not to raise alarm. These persons started loading the Aluminum sheets and finished goods of aluminum in the Rickshaws. When one of the labourer/guard Nagender objected to this, then one of accused stabbed him with a knife in his stomach and sped away with the booty along with their associates after locking them from outside. One of the workers informed his employer about this incident who came to the factory and rushed them to the DDU Hospital. FIR No. 334/07 U/s 397/394 IPC was registered on 11.09.07 and the investigation of the case was taken up. Later on the injured Nagender succumbed to his injuries at the hospital.
Four teams were constituted under the supervision of ACP/Naraina Sh. Jitender Mani, SHO/Mayapuri Sh. Dinesh Tiwari and Inspector Investigation Sh. Virender Singh to nab the culprits by continuous gathering of information and conducting raids. The raiding parties were dispatched to various places. Another team was also constituted under the supervision of ACP/Operation Sh. Dinesh Gupta and Distt. Spl. Staff were also detailed. Secret sources were also detailed at several places and raids were conducted at several hide outs. On getting a secret information a team consisting of SI Kashmiri Lal, HC Rohtas, No 330/SW, HC Vishal Singh, No. 144/SW, Ct. Ram Chander, No. 1575/SW, Ct. Naresh, No. 613/SW and Ct. Satyavan, No. 1078/SW led by Inspr. Virender Singh spotted two accused in the area of Daya Basti and the raiding party immediately reacted and overpowered both the accused namely Fiaz Ahmed @ Kalia R/o D-470 Mir Vihar, Mubarkpur, Delhi aged 25 years and Raj Kumar (vagabond) were apprehended after a long chase. They were put under sustained interrogation and they disclosed that two of their co-accused Amit Chauhan aged 18 years R/o Hans park, West Sagarpur, Delhi and Mohd. Ilyas @ Hero R/o Juggi Kanchan Basti Mayapuri aged 18 years were preparing to flee from Delhi and were nabbed from Delhi Cantt. Rly. Station.
During their interrogation they disclosed and confessed that all the five accused namely Raj Kumar, Fiaz @ Kalia, Amit, Hero and Sibba reached at the above factory. Hero remained out side of the factory to keep watch and other four intruded the factory. They were equipped with Iron Rod, Knife and a sword. Raj Kumar attacked the worker namely Nagender with knife while other accused took out the knife and sword and asked them to sit in the corner of the factory. Sibba and Amit shifted the looted good viz. Aluminum plates and finished good in plastic bags and decamped with booty in two Rickshaws and bolting the main door and putting the guard inside the factory. When another Chowkidar Suresh Bahadur tried to intervene he was also attacked with the sword by Fiaz @ Kalaia and fled from the spot.
