2016 AP Exam Testing Guidelines
- NO CELL PHONES OR ELECTRONIC DEVICES ARE ALLOWED AT THE TESTING SITE!!
- All exams will be given at River Dell High School in the Library. (This location my change. Please check your emails).
- Students must park in their assigned high school parking spot.
- Only students who have paid for an exam are allowed to take it. Attendance will be taken at the beginning of each exam.
- Students taking morning exams must arrive by 7:15 AM.
- Students taking afternoon exams must arrive by 11:15 AM.
- Students will not be allowed to take the exam if they are tardy.
- The College Board strongly discourages students from being absent. Makeup exams are only allowed in cases of a documented family emergency or severe illness. PLEASE – NO ABSENCES!
- Students should bring sharpened #2 pencils and black pens. Calculators are needed for the Calculus, Chemistry, and Physics exams.
*Biology students may use a four function (with square root) calculator only!
- Students taking AP Physics must bring a ruler or straight edge.
- Please encourage students to take the exam seriously.
- Students will remain seated until all have completed the exam. No one may leave the exam early.
- Students taking PM exams may not be able to finish in time for after school activities.
- Students are encouraged to bring an extra sweater/sweatshirt in case the testing roomis chilly.
- Students may bring a snack/drink but may eat only before or after the exam.
- If a student has both a morning and an afternoon exam during the same day, he/she should pack a lunch. There will not be enough time to go out and eat.
- Students should bring a note to Ms. Ioele a day prior to an exam if their parent gives them permission to remain home in the morning for an afternoon exam or to go home after completing a morning exam.
