Using US Bank Declining Balance Cards
How do I activate my card?
Call US Bank at 800.344.5696 and follow the steps as directed. When prompted for your ZIP, enter 03603. To activate your account, enter this four-digit code: 1234 or 0000.
How will I get my PIN?
You will be emailed your PIN once it is received in the Charlestown Office.
I’ve lost/haven’t received my PIN
Please email the Field Services department at , or call 603.504.3307. Please note: If a new PIN has to be requested from US Bank, it will take a couple of days to receive. Other solutions are available if purchases need to be made during this timeframe, but cash access will not be available.
Do I have cash access?
Yes, 25% of the total funds on the card are reserved for withdrawal as cash only. You cannot access the 25% by charging, you will need to withdraw cash to access the money.
I’m having trouble with my card, what do I do?
· Try testing your card during business hours first.
· If the card is declined when you try to charge on it and you believe that you have sufficient funds on the card, try to get cash out if possible and work in cash transactions. If the card is still being declined and you cannot takeout cash, there may be fraud issues with your card. If this is the case call your direct supervisor and they will help you get this remedied.
· If you are unable to use your card at all and the purchase is 100% necessary at that time, please use your own personal funds and you submit for reimbursement ASAP.
The card was lost or stolen…now what?
Contact US Bank Customer Service at 800.344.5696 to ‘turn off’ the card. Call/email your direct supervisor who will alert SCA Finance staff in order to get you a new card.
