HOW TO HIRE

WE need:

To be confident that you can operate, store and use our gear safely;

To know that you will be fully responsible, return the kit in good clean condition and on time – remember, other filmmakers may have equipment booked;

That you have insurance, or are willing to use ours;

That you agree to our terms and conditions of hire.

YOU need:

To supply two forms of ID, including proof of address, and any other ID we may require;

To provide proof of insurance, unless you’re using ours;

To be prepared to pay for your hire in advance (preferably by debit card);

To surrender your card details as a deposit

PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU HAVE READ AND UNDERSTOOD OUR TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF HIRE (see end of ratecard section)

For weekends we charge 1.5 x daily rate • Friday pickup, Monday return

We can do insurance @ 10% of hire charge unless you have your own.

General Terms and Conditions for Hirers

I/we understand that I am/we are responsible for using equipment supplied by Four Corners safely, returning hired equipment on time, and in a clean condition;

I/we understand that equipment returned late, damaged or dirty will incur a charge. This may also include loss of business revenue or cost of hired-in equipment;

Equipment lost or stolen must be reported to Four Corners immediately;

I/we understand that equipment hired out must be insured, whether through Four Corners’ insurance or the hirers’. Proof of cover must be supplied to Four Corners prior to collection;

Any excess charge in respect of an insurance claim will be the liability of the hirer;

Hirers must be able to operate and store equipment safely and properly;

Hirers use Four Corners equipment at their own risk. Four Corners will not be liable for any injury caused to hirers or others while using, transporting or storing equipment;

Hirers must satisfy themselves as to the condition of the equipment on collection.

Four Corners reserves the right to refuse to hire equipment to any group or individual, for any reason.
