Scrooge Character Analysis Booklet

Your Task:

You will create a booklet that shows the evolution of Scrooge’s character throughout A Christmas Carol. This will be an ongoing assignment and worked on in and out of school.

Considerations:

Scrooge goes through an extreme transformation throughout the story. Consider the following big questions from the ‘choices’ thread when analyzing Scrooge:

  • How do the choices and actions of characters reveal their personalities?
  • How does the evaluation of the past help us make future choices?
  • What is the relationship between choices and consequences?
  • How do our choices impact others?

Booklet Assembly:

1.)As we read, you will fill out your prewrite. This document must be submitted with the final booklet

2.)To make your booklet, you will type up each page of your prewrite on a separate page of computer paper. Then, you will bind them together (staples, report cover, hole punch with yarn).

3.)Your first page will be a title page which includes your name, date, period, name of assignment (see title of this paper) and a picture or border.
