The 2016 ECU Convention was a brilliant success with over 500 delegates and attracted feedback such as ‘the best ever.’ It set the bar high for 2017 and that is a challenge the Cyprus Chiropractic Association and the ECU organising committee intend to meet. Limassol, the venue for the convention, is ideally situated on the south coast of the golden island of Cyprus with its legendary links to Aphrodite, the Greek Goddess of Love, Beauty and Pleasure.
We expect a strong turnout in 2017 when the theme will be ‘Life is Movement’ and with good swimming, a 15km running track along the beach and warm sun there will be plenty to attract delegates alongside a stellar speaker programme and lively social events. ECU 2017 will be the key European chiropractic event of the year, with a strong international gathering of the chiropractic profession. It will provide access to Europe’s leading figures in the profession. The convention hotel is the 5-star Grand Resort beach hotel where the exhibitor booths will be adjacent to the grand hall (where the plenary sessions will take place) in the Salaminiaroomwhere coffee will be served. The best exhibition spaces will be in high demand and will be allocated on a first come first served basis - book early to avoid disappointment!

BACKspace Magazine is the official biannual magazine of the European Chiropractors’ Union. It is mailed to over 3.500 ECU members, academic institutions and other chiropractic organisations twice yearly. The magazine is an ideal place for companies and educational institutes to advertise their products and services to professionals and students in chiropractic.

Bindingassignments are made prior to the Convention and will be confirmed by the Convention Organising Company.
All sponsorship items and exhibit space are sold on a first-come, first-served basis and will be considered sold only upon payment of invoice.
UK and Cyprus laws apply to sponsorship and exhibition at the ECU 2017 Convention.
PAYMENT
Upon receipt of the sponsor order form, the sponsor contract and an invoice will be sent to the address indicated on the form. Payment is due 30 days from the date of invoice. The ECU reserves the right to cancel the order and resell the space if payment is not received by the due date. Exhibitors with payments outstanding will not be allowed to build stands. Sponsorship fees paid before 31 December 2016 will attract a 10 per cent discount.
ALLOCATION OF BOOTH SPACE
Space will be assigned on a first come, first served basis. The Convention Organisers reserve the right to allocate an exhibitor to a new location in the case of a change in size of the reserved exhibition space or events outside the ECU’s control.

BOOTH SPACE
Booth space and floor plan
Exhibit spaces is allocated on a first come, first serve basis depending on the category of the sponsor and the space requirements.
Booth space includes:
- 1 skirted table and 2 chairs. The table approx. measures 80 x 80 cm (approx. 2.6 x 2.6ft)
- Electricity access point
- The maximum height for stands is 2.50 m. / 8’3” (external measurement from the floor).
- Booth space does not include:
- Shipping, set-up and dismantling of exhibits and other services
- Electrical cords and extensions, adaptors etc.
- Any furniture other than included in the exhibition space, personalised signs
- Audio visual equipment
- Stand cleaning
- Any special security that may be required
ELECTRICITY
- Electrical power (220 V) is provided free of charge up to max. 1 kW. European standard plugs and connections apply. Maximum electrical capacity: 40 kW. Exhibition electricity should be ordered from the main exhibition contractor 2 weeks in advance of exhibition build.
