Size: small - usually means only one complete season of growth, size not stated - usually tubers will be at least 2 years old by autumn 2010, and often more. Availability: where availability is limited this means there are only very small numbers, eg 5 plants or less – please order early to avoid disappointment.

Ordering Information

ORDERS can be placed at any time of year. Please complete the forms and return with payment by post. Orders by e-mail are welcome, but plants are not reserved until payment is received.

OVERSEAS ORDERS There should be few problems with orders from within the E.U., but please contact me first by e-mail to agree the method of payment and delivery. From outside the E.U., enquiries are also welcome. Again, please contact me first by e-mail.

PAYMENT is by sterling cheque please, made payable to A.D.Heys. The cheque amount can be written “Not to exceed xxx pounds” in words between the A/C payee cross lines while leaving the numbers box blank for me to complete. This is useful if the order cannot be met exactly. If wishing to pay by other means such as Paypal please contact me.

POSTAGE & PACKING Up to 5 plants: £4.80 per order, 6 plants or more: £6.50 per order, for delivery within the UK. Where one order needs two separate deliveries, they are both covered by a single charge.

DELIVERY Plants are normally sent by signed - for 1st class post as dormant bare root tubers, or other types of delivery by arrangement. Winter green species are normally sent in August or September. Winter dormant species are normally sent from September to January. Please inspect plants immediately on arrival. It is best to plant or pot up within a few days. Please let me know of any special delivery instructions. Plants can also be collected, by arrangement, at any time of year.

PRIORITY Please note some species are only available in very limited numbers, as indicated on the order form (Limited). These are supplied on a first come first served basis, and early ordering is essential. Please indicate on the form if alternative choices are acceptable substitutes, in case a first choice species is not available.

TERMS & CONDITIONS Prices are subject to the current Plant List. Plants offered are propagated from legally sourced material. Plants are raised from seed both symbiotically and asymbiotically, and also by division of stock. Every effort is made to supply healthy plants in good condition, which will normally be at least 2 growing seasons old, and often more, unless otherwise stated. Cultivation advice is supplied with each order. If you are not satisfied with the plants on delivery, please retain them and the packing and contact me straight away. A full refund will require the plants to be returned to me postage paid. No responsibility can be taken for successful growth of the plants after delivery, including time to flowering. Please note that plants may not exactly match the appearance of those in illustrations used, due to the wide natural variation in colour and form. Species identification cannot be absolutely guaranteed in plants that have not yet flowered.
