#12 Award contract to Terik Roofing, Inc., Akron in amount of $912,288 for roof replacement. 13 bids opened on March 16, this being the most responsive complying with specifications. Issue Notice to proceed on or before July 1 and complete on or before October 31; Authorize Administrator to notify Auditor to release retainage at completion of project.

Engineer:

#13 Award contract to Kokosing Construction Co., Elyria in amount of $788,687.25 for Oberlin Rd resurfacing project, New Russia Township and City of Oberlin. 7 bids were received on March 28 and these being the most responsive complying with specifications. Kokosing does not propose substitutions but will use American Roadway Logistics, Catts Construction and Garcia Surveyors as subcontractors. Project includes resurfacing Oberlin Rd 3.2 miles from East College Street, Oberlin to Russia Rd. OPWC will contribute 89% or $582,603.27 as a grant, additional $119,328.38 as a loan to be paid over 12 year period at 0% interest; City of Oberlin will contribute up to 15% of local share or $13,013.34 and certified funds to repay up to 15% or $17,899.26 of OPWC loan. Issue notice to proceed on or before April 24 and complete on or before October 31; Authorize Administrator to notify Auditor to release retainage at completion of project
