ROSE LANGHORST NAMED TREASURER

AT ENTERPRISE RENT-A-CAR

St. Louis (Feb. 10, 2004) – Enterprise Rent-A-Car today announced the promotion of Rosemary “Rose” Langhorst to vice president and treasurer, according to William Snyder, the company’s executive vice president and chief financial officer. Langhorst, who began her career with Enterprise in October 1988, has served as the company’s assistant treasurer since 1994. Langhorst replaces senior vice president and treasurer, Bob Huber, who announced his retirement this week after a 24-year career.

“Rose has been a significant part of the Treasury team at Enterprise during a period of rapid growth for our company,” said Snyder. “Her work has been instrumental in helping us leverage our company’s investment grade rating to favorably secure the capital needed to fund our growth. She is well prepared for this advancement in her career, and we believe the company will continue to benefit greatly from her experience and leadership.”

Langhorst graduated from the University of Missouri – St. Louis in 1985 with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree with an emphasis in accounting. Langhorst worked as a certified public accountant for Peat Marwick (KPMG) after graduation for three years prior to joining the corporate accounting staff at Enterprise in 1988. Three years later, she joined the treasury department holding a series of positions of increasing responsibility, including assistant vice president and vice president.

Rose lives with her husband, Paul, and daughters, Becky and Anna, in suburban St. Louis.
