Program title: Hairdressing Program
Program objective: This course offers training in a wide range of skills appropriate to today’s High Fashion Hair service Industry. Current “High Tech” equipment and techniques are featured and graduates receive a salon respected Diploma.
Duration: approx 10 months / 37.5 weeks = 1500 hours

Level 1 & 2
Draping ; Shampoo; Basic Set; Comb out; Blow Dry; Basic Perm wrap; 4 type hair cutting form (Solid, Graduated, Increased layer and Uniform.); Curling Iron; Treatment.
Level 3 (Intermediate)
Clipper and combination cutting form; Advance perm wrap; Coloring; Foils; Define people temperament type True Colors: Salon management; Receptionist; Skip wave; finger wave and Up Do.
Level 4
Advanced Coloring; Fashion perm wrap; Advance Hi-Li design and Up Do design and Color Correction; Job Strategies (Facilitated Resume, Marketing and Interview skill)
Materials Required:
Salon Fundamentals (Pivot Point) text book and student Kit (list available with registration form)
Evaluation:
Theory Written Exam Plan: Using multiple-choice type question system.Home work Text book 30%
Color exam 30% Final exam 30%
3 Project (Business. Co. & Cut) 10%
Total theory: 100% / Hand on practical procedures Exam Plan:
4 level evaluation marked (20 % each) 80%

Also includes daily Quizzes on theory; daily practical assessment on mannequin and client services
Grading System: Passing grade is overall grade of 75%
Potential Career options upon completion: Hairdresser, Business/Salon Owner, Stylist, Hair Technician, Junior Stylist, Hair Fashion Professional, stage/competition performer.

PROGRAM ADMISSION REQUIREMENTSGrade 12 graduation (BC Dogwood or equivalent) or have completed and passed ESL School and at least 19 years of age.
(If under 19 yrs of age must have parent or guardian signature)
If any students are a non-grade 12 graduate or English as a second language you must complete a language assessment and bring it to the interview. (Free assessment available online. Please make sure the assessment includes a minimum of vocabulary, reading and comprehension. Some examples are TOEFL, IELTS or Ita Essential skills ect. You must be at a minimum score of 60% on the English language assessment in order to join Roggendorf school.)
All students must be able to understand English.
(Program admission requirements may not be waived by the student or the institution)
For Hairdressing:
· Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) with a minimum score of 22.5 equivalent to 75% or over,
· Test of English from essential skills (Ita) (www.itadiretctaccess.ca) with a minimum of 75% or over and a skill level of medium, (level 2).
· World leader, in International education (www.ef.com) with a minimum score of 75% or over, (b level).
· International English Language Testing (IELTS) with a minimum score of 6.75 (equivalent to 75% or over).

The institute will accept monthly payments as follows:
First payment of = $ 3616. ( 100.00 registration,$ 950.00 kit, $300.00 textbooks & $ 33 Data witness report. 1/3 Training fee must be paid for in full on the 1st day of class. & no refund + 1st hairdressing training program fee $ 2233
Students must bring a cheque or money order to process loan funding.
(Such as student aid)
Second & third month equal payments of $2233.5 (each term payment, all subsequent payments are due on the same day in the next 2 consecutive months)
Registration and the payment of the deposit must be completed at least 1 week before the start of the student program. Payment can be made with cash, Cheque or Bank money order (Sorry, Credit Cards and interact are not accepted).
1) Refund policy for students:
(a) Refunds before the program of study begins:
1. If written notice of withdrawal is received by the institution within 7 days after the contract is made, and before the commencement of the period of instruction specified in the contract, the institution may retain 5% of the total tuition and fees due under the contract to a maximum of $250.
2. If written notice of withdrawal is received by the institution 30 days or more before the commencement of the period of instruction specified in the contract and more than 7 days after the contract was made, the institution may retain 10% of total tuition only due under the contract to a maximum of $1000.
3. Subject to Section 37.11.1.1, if written notice of withdrawal is received by the institution less than 30 days before the commencement of the period of instruction specified in the contract, and more than 7 days after the contract was made, the institution may retain 20% of the total tuition only, due under the contract to a maximum of $1300.
2) Refunds after the program of study starts:
(a) If written notice of withdrawal is received by the institution or a student is dismissed up to and including 10% of the period of instruction specified in the contract has elapsed, the institution may retain 30% of the tuition due under the contract.
(b) If written notice of withdrawal is received by the institution, or a student is dismissed where more than 10% and up to and including 30% of the period of instruction specified in the contract has elapsed, the institution may retain 50% of the tuition due under the contract.
(c) If a student withdraws or is dismissed more than 30% of the period of instruction specified in the contract has elapsed, no refund is required.
3) Where a student did not meet the institutional and/or program specific minimum requirements for admission through no misrepresentation or fault of their own, the institution must refund all tuition and fees paid under the contract, less the applicable non-refundable student application or registration fee.
4) Where a student withdraws or is dismissed from their program, they are entitled to 100% refund of any as-yet to be received consumables that have been pre-paid.
5) Where a student withdraws or is dismissed from their program after receiving technical equipment from the institution free of charge:
(a) The student must return the equipment unopened or as issued within 14 calendar days; and
(b) If the student fails to return the equipment as set out above, the institution may deduct the reasonable cost of the equipment from any amount to be refunded to the student.
6) Refunds owed to students must be paid within 30 days of the institution receiving written notification of withdrawal and all required supporting documentation, or within 30 days of an institution’s written notice of dismissal.
