f.  If you arrive after the reunification process has begun, please check with staff to see if your student’s teacher’s name has already been called.

4.  When you hear your student’s teacher’s name announced, proceed to the Request Gate with your Student Release Form.

a.  Only individuals whose identification has been verified will be allowed to proceed.

b.  The Request Gate Greeter will verify if the student is available.

-  If the student is on site and ready to be picked up, parents/guardians will be allowed to proceed to the Request Gate.

-  If the student did not arrive at the reunification site with their class, parents/guardians will be escorted to an area where staff can provide individual assistance with verifying the student’s location and status.

c.  Request Gate staff will verify that requestors are authorized to pick up the student.

-  Students will be released only to individuals listed on the student’s emergency contact record or authorized by the parent/guardian.

d.  If the requestor is authorized, staff will complete “Section 3” of the Student Release Form.

e.  Individuals not listed on the student’s emergency record will be directed to the Authorization Area for assistance completing “Section 4” of the Student Release Form.
