BLIND MURDER CASE WORKED OUT BY PS JAHANGIR PURI THROUGH LOCAL INTELLIGENCE.

INTRODUCTION:

In the intervening night of 10/11.8.12 a PCR call was received at PS Jahangir Puri regarding an unconscious person lying at EE Block, Jahangir Puri, Delhi. Information was lodged at PS Jahangir Puri and SI Balwant Singh, the Emergency Officer reached the spot alongwith staff but found no one on the spot. After sometime it came to notice that one unconscious person having smell of alcohol has been admitted in BJRM Hospital by beat constable, Aaresh and Doctors referred the injured to LNJP Hospital. SI Balwant along with staff reached BJRM Hospital and received MLC No. 35372 of a male person, who was not having any visible injury. The injured was identified as Bhupender (23 Yrs)s/o Hari Babu r/o 607, MCD Flat, Jahangir Puri, Delhi. During the treatment, on 16.8.12 he succumbed to the injuries. In this regard a murder case vide FIR No.199/12 dated 16.8.12 U/S-308/302/34 IPC was registered at PS Jahangir Puri and investigations taken up.

INVESTIGATION:

As it was a blind murder case and no help was coming from any nook and corner, a spl team was constituted to investigate the case under the close supervision of SHO Jahangir Puri. Secret informers were deployed and every possible effort was made to find out the reality. So many criminals of the area were also interrogated but no fruitful information came out. During investigation the family members of deceased were also interrogated but nothing tangible came out. An eye witness came forward and named four accused persons who gave beatings to Bhupender (deceased).

Since the team was already intensified, it took no time in developing the secret information regarding whereabouts of the culprits. The team arrested two of the four culprits involved in the murder case namely (1) Vishal (Age18 yrs) @ Jhuggi s/o Rakesh Sharma r/o- D-1284, Jahangir Puri, Delhi and (2) Rohit Kumar (Age 22 Yrs)@ Chhidi s/o Jai Prakash r/o- E-1187, Jahangir Puri, Delhi.

INTERROGATION:

During sustained interrogation, the culprits disclosed that they are in the habit of taking liquor. They used to drink together but Bhupender (deceased) used to abuse them for which they hatched a plan and in the intervening night on 10-11/8/12 they beat him up, due to which he succumbed to injuries.

PROFILE OF ACCUSED:

(1) Vishal @ Jhuggi s/o Rakesh Sharma r/o- D-1284, Jahangir Puri, Delhi age 18 years and is unmarried, studied up to 8th, unemployed and drug addict. He is first time offender.

(2) Rohit Kumar @ Chhidi s/o Jai Prakash r/o- E-1187, Jahangir Puri, Delhi age 22 years is unmarried, studied up to 5th, unemployed and drug addict. He has previously involved in Case FIR No. 33/12 u/s- 324 IPC PS Jahangir Puri.

The investigation of the case is in progress.

DESPERATE SNATCHER ARRESTED WITH THE HELP OF AGED PERSON

Twelve Mobile recovered.

INTRODUCTIONWith the arrest of a desperate snatcher Vinod@ Anil @ Rakesh @ Vinu S/O Jagdish R/O M-281 Mangol Puri, Delhi, the Staff of PS Maurya Enclave, North West Distt has solved SIX cases of snatching. A case has been registered vide FIR No.217/12 u/s 356/379/411/34 IPC at PS Maurya Enclave and one motorcycle, Two Gold Chains, 4 Other Chains, 12 Mobile phones and other items have been recovered at his instance. Further investigation is being done.

INCIDENT AND INVESTIGATION

On 20.8.2012 at about 1.10 PM, one old aged lady Smt. Bimla Verma was going to LP Block Pitam Pura when one M/Cycle borne accused snatched her gold chain and ran away. The lady shouted for help and one brave old man Raj Kishore (name changed on request) (aged 54 yrs) tried to stop that snatcher and caught hold of the back hood of the seat of M/cycle and in that process, M/Cycle slipped. Meanwhile Ct. Rajbeer and Ct. Sandeep who were on beat patrolling duty in the area, also reached the spot and overpowered the snatcher. The snatcher was identified as above and the Gold Chain of Smt. Bimla Verma was recovered from his possession. A case FIR as above was registered against the accused and further investigation was taken up. The investigation revealed the accused'sinvolvementin 51 criminal cases of snatching, NDPS and Arms Act. Considering the hardcore criminal, ACP/Saraswati Vihar Sh. Ashish Anan deployed a team under SHO/Maurya Enclave to interrogate the criminal and investigate the case. The staff made intensive interrogation and accused was found involved in SIX cases of snatchings. The snatched items, including gold chains, mobile phones and M/Cycle used in the offence were recovered at his instance. He was committing the crime alongwith his relative Budhram and search of the co-accused is being made. Public person Raj Kishore and Police officials Cts. Rajbir and Sandeep have shown exemplary braveness and will be suitably rewarded.

STOLEN GOODS WORTH LAKHS OF RUPEES RECOVERED WITH ARREST OF TWO PERSONS INCLUDING NEPHEW OF COMPLAINANT

With the arrest of one Janak Raj, aged about 30 years s/o Rati Ram r/o Village & P.O. Bhatsana, P.S. Dharuhera, District Rewari (Haryana) and (2) Ravi, aged about 24 years s/o Rajender Kumar r/o A-2/A, Gali No. 4, Raja Puri, Delhi, Central District police has busted a gang of thieves involved in theft of socks. 15,630 pairs of socks and some fake bills of complainant’s firm have been recovered from their possession.

INCIDENT On 20.08.2012, one Sh. Sanjay Gulati s/o Madan Lal Gulati r/o 1193, Doriwalan, Karol Bagh, New Delhi (Proprietor of Well Enterprises) reported that his agent had gone for booking at Rewari and informed him that his company’s articles/socks are being sold at lower price by supplier of Kumar Trading Co. Dharuhera. On 19.08.2012, complainant went to Dharuhera and found that his shop articles are being stored in a godown and in a shop. The owner of Kumar Trading Company gave him their visiting card and gave a deal at a very low price. At this, he checked his stock and found that the articles / socks are short. He also raised suspicion on involvement of his employees in the commission of theft. A case vide FIR No. 183/12 u/s 381 IPC was registered and investigation was taken up.

TEAMA team consisting of Inspr. Parmod Gupta, SHO/DBG Road, SI Dheeraj Singh, SI Yash Pal and HC Amit was constituted under the close supervision of Sh. Raja Ram, ACP/Pahar Ganj, Central District.

INVESTIGATIONDuring the course of investigation, the police team conducted raid at the shop of Janak Raj at Gali Patese Wali, Bhagat Singh Chowk, Dharuhera, District Rewari (Haryana) and 15,630 pairs of socks and some fake bills of complainant’s firm were recovered from the possession of accused Janak Raj. Accused Janak Raj was arrested by the police team.

On sustained interrogation, accused Janak Raj disclosed that the recovered articles have been sent to him by one Ravi, the employee of the complainant. At this, accused Ravi was also apprehended by the police team. Initially, he did not confess his involvement in the commission of crime. But finally, he broke down and confessed his involvement in the commission of crime. He further disclosed that he is working as a Computer Operator in the complainant’s company. His job was to prepare the bills and dispatch the goods out of Delhi.

Accused Ravi further disclosed that he used to prepare the fake bills in the name of fake firms and used to dispatch the socks to Dharuhera (Haryana), where accused Janak Raj used to sell the socks. Accused Janak Raj is maternal uncle of accused Ravi.

Further investigation / interrogation is in progress.

TWO SNATCHERS ARRESTED BY THE STAFF OF PS-MANGOL PURI, OUTER DISTRICT

HIGHLIGHTS:-

BRIEF FACTS:-

Exhibiting brilliant investigation skills and professional competence, the Outer District Police comprising staff of PS-Mangol Puri achieved a major success by arresting two snatchers namely Avinash (20 yrs) S/o Chanderbhan R/o W-29/527, Jhuggi F-Block, Mangolpuri Delhi and Tinku @ Rinku (23 yrs) S/o Gulab Chand R/o W-29/332, Jhuggi F- Block, Mangolpuri, Delhi and recovered snatched cash Rs 500/- and mobile phone from their possession.

INCIDENT:-

On 20/8/2012 at 6.30 PM a PCR call was received at PS-Mangolpuri that one mobile phone snatcher has been apprehended near Patrol Pump, Marble market, Mangol Puri, Delhi. The call was entrusted to SI Rahul for necessary action. SI Rahul reached the spot and found one person namely Avinash S/o Chanderbhan apprehended by complainant Sh. Akash S/o Kirti Paswan R/o H.No. 71-72, Pocket-3, Sector 2, Rohini and other passersby with snatched Rs 500/- and some documents. Sh. Akash told that at about 6 PM he was going towards Mangolpuri to purchase vegetables. When he reached near West enclave Traffic signal suddenly two young boys snatched his mobile phone, Rs 500/- and some documents from the pocket of his shirt. He raised the alarm and with the help of some passersby managed to apprehend one boy who was identified as Avinash S/o Chanderbhan R/o W-29/527, Jhuggi F-Block, Mangolpuri, Delhi. Snatched Rs. 500/- and documents were recovered from his possession. The other boy managed to flee with his mobile. On the statement of Sh. Akash, a case vide FIR No. 314/12 U/s 379/356/34 IPC was registered and investigation was taken up. On 21/8/12 at about 9.30 PM on secret information co-accused Rinku @ Tinku (23 yrs) S/o Gulab Chand R/o W-29/332, Jhuggi F-Block, Mangolpuri, Delhi was apprehended near Paunjabi Camp, Mangolpuri and snatched mobile phone was recovered from his possession.

Accused Avinash was interrogated at length and he revealed that he is a drug-addict. His associate namely Rinku R/o F-Block Jhuggi is also drug addict. To fulfill their needs they used to target those persons who are found alone.

GANG OF ROBBERS WHO USED TO ROB THE DRIVERS OF AUTO RICKSHAW BUSTED : 3 ACCUSED ARRESTED

ROBBED PROPERTY AND KNIFE USED IN ROBBERY RECOVERED

Staff of PS Vasant Vihar, South District apprehended 3 robbers namely Albert Jojo (21 years) s/o Anthony Decosta r/o H. No. 138/H, Munirka Village, New Delhi, Dinesh Kumar (22 years) s/o K. Kalyan Dundram r/o E-5/3, Servant Quarters, Vasant Vihar and Deepak Seth (22 years) s/o Late K.L. Seth a vagabond and recovered robbed cash, mobile phone and a knife used in commission of crime.

BRIEF FACTS :

In order to prevent and keep check on the incidents ofrobberies / snatching and M.V. theft, all the picketing and patrollingstaff in the area of PS Vasant Vihar was strengthened. A team comprising SI Gajendra Singh, HC Ravinder, Ct Narender, Ct Pradeep, Ct Om Prakash and Ct Vijay under the supervision of Inspr. Anil Sharma, SHO/VasantVihar was also formed to develop information about the criminals operating in the area. The team put in relentless efforts and studied the movements of several criminals in the area.

On 20.08.12, the team was conducting night patrolling at Nelson Madela Road. At about 10.15 PM, one person namely Madanpal who worksas a Pantry Boy in Yes Bank at Priya Complex approached the patrolling party and informed that after attendingthe coaching at Coaching Centre at KusumpurPahari at around 09:30PM, he was going to meet his friend in Munirka via rear side of the Priya Complex. When he reached at drain in the park, three youths came and started beating him and robbed his mobile phone and other belongings at the point of knife. Since the incident had just occurred and there was possibility that accused persons might be caught, if they are hunt in that area immediately, the police team accompanied the complainant and launched a massive combing operation after encircling the area. After a long chase, the team apprehended all the three accused persons while they were trying to escape through the dense bushes of the ridge in the dark. They were identified as Albert Jojo, Dinesh Kumar and Deepak Seth. On search, robbed mobile phone, ID cardof complainant, Cash and oneknifeused in commission of crime was recovered from their possession. In this regard, a case vide FIR No 267/12 dated 21.08.12 u/s392/397/411/34 IPC PS VasantVihar was registered and investigation was taken up.

INTEROGATION :

During interrogation, it was revealed that all the accused persons are habitual of consuming ganja and other narcotic substances and under its influence they used to rob passersby and drivers of auto rickshaw. They disclosed that during late evening, they used to board in the auto posing as passenger and rob the driver of his mobile phone, cash, etc at isolated place at the point of knife and escaped from the spot in the nearby ridge area. The investigation of the case is at initial stage and efforts are being made to identify other victims targeted by the assailants.

WANTED TO KILL SON BUT FATHER WAS MURDERED: TWO ARRESTED.

HIGHLIGHTS:-

With the arrest of two accused namely 1. Shameem S/o Sibu R/o Village- Chhota Bhikampur,P.S. Rajpura Distt. Sambhal U.P. (aged-22 yrs). 2.Manoj S/o Panchdev R/o H.No. T-86, Sarai kale Khan Village New Delhi and Permanent resident of Distt. Azamgarh U.P. (aged-20 yrs) in case FIR No. 318/12 dated 13/08/12 U/s 302/34 IPC P.S. Sunlight Colony New Delhi. South-East Distt. Police has solved the cold blooded blind murder case of a old man aged 55-60 years .

INCIDENT:-

On 13/08/12 a PCR call stating that one person namely Padam Singh has been killed in his Jhuggi at Yamuna Khadar Sarai Kale Khan. On this Police staff reached at the spot i.e. Jhuggi, Behlolpur jungle near Jain Mandir Ashram, Yamuna Khadar Sarai kale Khan New Delhi and found a male dead body age around 55-60 Yrs lying in the pool of blood on the ground in front of his Jhuggi. There were brutal injury marks over the face,neck,shoulder,chest,stomach and other parts of the body of deceased. No eye witness of the incident was found available at the scene of crime, a case vide FIR No. 318/12 U/s 302 IPC registered in P.S. Sunlight Colony New Delhi and investigation was taken up.

TEAM & INVESTIGATION:-

A special team comprising of Inspector Kishan Kumar (ATO/SLC),SI Jatan Singh (I/C PP S.K. Khan),HC Pramod,HC Veerbhan, HC Satender,HC Mahender,Ct. Lakhami chand,Ct. Dharambir and Ct. Sahab Singh was formed under the leadership of Insp. Sunil Kumar (SHO/SLC) and in the close supervision of Sh. Dataram ACP/New Friends Colony for the investigation of this cold blooded blind murder of an old man. During the course of investigation the deceased was identified as Padam Singh a native of Nepal.It was revealed that his elderson Raju and daughter are living separately at Badarpur and Madangir respectively but the deceased Padam Singh was living at this Jhuggi with his wife Smt. Tara Devi and his younger son Sonu. During the investigation the wife of deceased was also found missing and after having a deep search in the jungle Smt Tara Devi was not found so a case vide FIR No. 320/12 U/s 365 IPC was also registered in P.S. Sunlight colony.

Durig the sustained interrogation of ruffians of locality a small clue came into light that the younger son of deceased namely Sonu had picked up a small quarrel with three boys namely Shameem,Manoj and Aneesh on 12/08/12.Thereafter a search was made to look for these alleged boys but due to non-availability of their complete addresses a man hunt was made to search the alleged fleeing boys.
