SENIOR INSPECTOR: CRADOCK DISTRICT OFFICE

SALARY PACKAGE: Min R 463 988, 00 : Midpoint R 579 985,00 : Maximum R 695982,00 (TOTAL COST TO COMPANY)

Qualifications and Experience

A three year degree or equivalent

At least 3 years in a legal, compliance and/or regulatory environment

Competencies and skills:

  • Computer Literacy
  • Code 8 unendorsed driver’s license

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that liquor legislation, regulations and rules and conditions of license are complied with by applicants and licensed parties.
  • Monitoring and investigating illegal activities and liaising with and assisting the relevant authorities.
  • Investigating cases of non – compliance, and compiling reports for further action.
  • Liaising and cooperating with other law enforcement agencies
  • Investigating license disputes or public complaints and report to the Chief Inspector
  • Participation in Community Forums, (Relationship to be established with the Ward Councilors, Clients etc.
  • Compile monthly reports.
  • Attend to internal and external customer complaints
  • Perform other related duties within reason that might be required for the position to enhance effectiveness and efficiency of the Queenstown Office
  • Contribute in the development, implementation, driving or managing the objectives of the Compliance and Enforcement Division Strategic Operational Plan.
  • Manage Finance, Resource Management and Office Administration.
  • Manage performance and development of the district staff.
  • Manage internal and external customer queries and complaints, whilst ensuring that a fair resolution is achieved within the required time frames.
  • Compile monthly, Quarterly, Half yearly, annual compliance and enforcement division district office reports.
  • Supervise, control and manage District Office employees.
  • Manage and ensure compliance with all Human Resources policies.
  • Manage operational expenditure at the District Office.
  • Manage assets of the ECLB at the District Office.
  • Manage process flow of applications at the district office.
  • Manage and control district office Petty Cash.
