Students get money for working as a Doughnut Shop employee, policeman, firefighter, mayor, tax collector, soldier, teacher, and city employee. Students had to pay taxes out of their money. Students placed stickers of government employees on a community map. Students learned the definitions for the terms government, services, and taxes.
