Wednesday Community Meal
The community meal on February 18 will be Chicken Stir Fry, Rice, Mandarin Salad, and Dessert. The CROWD & parents are scheduled on Feb. 18th. The Council and Foundation are scheduled on Feb. 25th.
Volunteer Position - Visitation Coordinator
We are looking for someone to volunteer up to five hours a week to assist the congregational coordinator and pastors in keeping the CTK community connected to its homebound members. This position will involve phone calling and maintaining a database. At least some of the work, will need to take place in the church office - time is flexible. If you are interested, please speak with Pastor Kacey or Pastor Hans.
Faithful Stewards
Becky Palmgren, from the ELCA Foundation, provided information on planned giving at the adult forum on Feb.1. There is information from her visit in the office. You may call the church office or sign-up at the library desk for an appointment on one of the 3 days she will be back at CTK to meet individually those who would like to learn more. There is no product or services to sell, and there is no charge for her consultation. Becky talked about being good stewards of the gifts that God has given each of us.Gift Planners help people maximize the distribution of their estates to their heirs, using tools that will save on income and inheritance taxes, and help them support ministry that has and is important to them, giving them an opportunity to make a difference.
