As Kayla’s Geometry teacher and a former RMHS cheerleader, I am pleased to recommend Kayla Thiebaut for the RMHS Cheerleading Team.
Having had Kayla in my class at Fossil Ridge for this entire school year I can tell you with confidence that Kayla is an extremely hard worker. She is dedicated to her school work and performing well on homework and tests is a top priority for her. She often asks questions and strives to make sure that she is doing each problem correctly before moving on to the next one. When faced with a difficult math problem she is sure to persevere until she has found the correct solution. She does this by using her admirable problems solving skills to explore every option that may help her obtain a suitable outcome. If chosen to be a part of next year’s squad I know she will apply this same commitment, dedication, and perseverance to the sport as well as to her team.
Not only is Kayla dedicated to performing well, but she is also a very capable team worker. Often times the students are required to participate in group activities in my class and Kayla works openly with her group members. She is clearly comfortable with helping the other students in her group who may be struggling and always offers her assistance with a smile. If she finds herself stuck on a problem she seeks out the advice of her classmates and is content to receive as well as to give help. Her obvious comfort with team work and her ability to work well multiple personality types will make her an excellent addition to a sport that abundantly relies on the openness and respect between team members.
If chosen to represent Rocky Mountain high school as one of its cheerleaders I know that Kayla will accept all of the challenges and responsibilities with enthusiasm.
