Important Information:
· Please come as a family and enjoy the Art Show and Open House on 1/22! This is an opportunity to see the children’s art work in first grade and tour classrooms throughout the building.
· Report cards will be sent home next Friday. Please keep the Progress Report sheet and standards sheet. Sign and return the envelope and white conduct cards on Monday.
· Thursday, February 6 will be our 100th day of school!! First and Second grades will be doing many 100’s Day activities. Please see the note and enclosed paper bag for directions on putting together a 100’s Day collection. All 100 items should fit in the paper lunch bag and be “kept a secret” from classmates. We will be doing some riddle writing and trying to guess what is in the bag!
· We will be decorating Valentine’s mailboxes with our 7th grade buddies on 2/11. Please send in a shoebox wrapped in plain paper by Tuesday 2/11 (I suggest wrapping the lid separately from the box so your child will be able to get their Valentines out!).I can’t take the boxes early—storage space is very limited in the classroom. You may send in some extra decorations (doilies, stickers, etc.) for your child to use to decorate the outside of the box. We will provide glue, scissors, markers, etc. No glitter please J
· If your child chooses to bring in Valentine cards to pass out, they must bring a card for everyone in the class. No need to write names on the cards! Your child does not have to bring in Valentines to receive them.
· ______’s Xtramath Addition score on 1/16 was ______/ 100.
