The flowers are coming up again so that means it is the time of year when we are all together organising the Leamington Peace Festival for the community and weare looking for your help and energy as always to make the festival creative, excitingand unforgettable.So we are hoping you will be able to share your talents with us!

We are looking, as always, for a creative mix of workshops and peace talks for our 2018 Festival.

If you fancyrunning a workshop, giving apeace talk, or giving a short performance, please complete the relevant sections of this form and send it to [ as soon as you can!

Important Notes

  • Workshops should lastbetween 30/40 minutes, including clear up time, and take place in the workshop tent.
  • As always, we cannot pay any fees for running workshops, and it is against Festival policy for you to charge people who attend. We are able to pay reasonable expenses, so if you think your expenses are going to be very high, please let me know before I commit to booking you. (If you have a stall you are not entitled to get your expenses refunded, but we will offer you a stall discount)
  • You must provide all materials and equipment to run the workshop with
  • We can provide trestle tables and some chairs and a marquee (There is no mains electricity in the marquee)
  • Feel free to bring any promotion material for display or distribution

Bridge Performance Area

We are looking to widen the scope of performance types in this area for 2017. Comedy, poetry, world music, dance, theatre. It is a small area, with a small PA, but very friendly and intimate.

All performances will have a maximum of 30 min, with 10 min changeover inbetween.

Insurance Policy and Risk Assessment

Do you have Public Liability Insurance?If you have Insurance, you will need to send me a copy of the policy, or bring it with you. You need to carry out your own risk assessment, looking at what risks your activity might present to the public and taking all steps to minimise that risk.We would like to advise you that participants are not covered by the Festival insurance; we, therefore, recommend you ensure you are adequately covered in the event of any damage or injury caused.
