THIRD YEAR FIRST SEMESTER

Max. Marks: 100 Theory:60 Marks

Pass Marks:35% Internal assessment:20 Marks

Time Allowed :3 Hours Viva:20 Marks

INSTRUCTIONS FOR PAPER SETTER: Question paper shall be divided into 3 parts. Each question will carry equal marks from section A & B. Four questions shall be set from each section. Candidate will attempt two questions from each section of 10 marks. Section C of question paper shall carry ten questions of 2 marks each

SECTION –A

1)Lighting Equipment, Filters, Camera Operation, Artificial lighting equipments,Types of lamps in use & their efficiency.(Incandescent, halogen, HMI),Halogen cycle.

2)Lighting & Exposure objective of television lighting,Three dimentional lighting technique. Contrast ratio.Nature of natural light..

3)Basic concept of Exposure, concept of optimum exposure.

SECTION-B

4)Types of TV Production in the context of outdoor & indoor .

5)Basic Aspects of Independent Filmmaking in Video-Fiction and Non-Fiction

6)Defining parameters of budget.

11)Marketing & selling, Financial statements, Pricing policies, budgetary controls balance sheet & P/L A/C,

12). Publicity of Production, promotion, public relationship.
