The Badger Region Qualifier 2016 is open only for those teams wanting to earn a bid to:

G17 National/American and G18 National/ American Division

2016 Girls Junior National Championships(USAV GJNC) in Indianapolis, IN

BIDS: 1 National Bid(G17) / 1 American Bid(G17 and G18)

2016 Girls Junior National Championships(USAV GJNC) in Milwaukee, WI

BIDS: 1 National Bid(G18)

*AES Entry Form/$200 Payment(Late Payment Deadline: Feb 7, 2016).

*AES Results DUE SUNDAY, February 7. An email was sent to Club Directors and Coaches.

*Bid Declaration/Seeding Information FormDUE SUNDAY, February 7go to:

All teams must declare prior to the start of the event which bid(s) they will be playing for. No changes will be allowed after the deadline, and bid declarations will be posted at the event. A team must accept a declared bid if won at the qualifier. A team may decline a trickle-down bid if not won directly at the qualifier.

Note: Any team that earns an Open/National/American Bid at one of the National Qualifier Events must drop out and will receive a full refund.

*All teams competing in the BRVA Qualifier MUST BE REGISTERED for the USAV GJNC* and must accept the bid they declared for should they win it.

A complete entry into the USAV GJNC includes the following:

1. Complete entry requirements on AES, the online registration program of USAV; and

2. Copy of USAV GJNC AES Entry Form and Full Entry Fee (payable to USAV) sent to the BRVA Office OR turned in at Registration on Feb 20, 2016.

The Club must be in good standing with Badger Region (i.e. no outstanding debts, fines or sanctions).

Format: Divisions that have more than 8 teams will be competing in a single elimination play-off to get into the round of 8. Once the division is at 8 teams, the format will be double elimination including a 5th/6th and 7th/8th Match. Divisions of 7 or less teams will play double elimination playing matches to the lowest place. This format is preferred since it will give us a better ranking of teams at the completion of division play. Teams may need to officiate more frequently than in a pool play situation – please check the schedule carefully for officiating assignments. DO NOT USE THIS QUALIFIER AS A “PLAY DATE” FOR YOUR TEAM.
