· Library-
o Trista Friman- Library Update
o Library Repairs- review quotes if any are received by mtg time.
· Police Department- Chief Reichenberg
o Approve officers to attend firearms training in Tripp- Wednesday, September 9th, 2015.
o Variance for consumption permit- requests to cross alley behind Boogs Bar to access vacant lot behind Braley’s for a fundraiser bean bag tournament.
· Street Department

o 2016 Railroad, Elm, & Pear Street Project
§ Referendum period has lapsed with no petitions filed. Motion to approve McLaury Engineering to begin plans & specifications for project.
o Main Street Railroad Crossing Update
o Fourth, Evergreen, & Wallace Asphalt Project Update.
o Main Street stripping project- additional cost to paint pedestrian crossings for SRTS project. $1300 to stripe as is, $400 to strip like other crossings in business district.
o Approve State Maintenance & Encroachment Agreement for future projects. This will include the Hwy. 37 & 44 flashing beacon project, already in progress.
· Water/Sewer Department

o Update on land acquisition

o Direct Deposit Stub emailing software- one-time fee of $350.
o Approve Finance Officer to attend Election Workshop in Sioux Falls, Friday, November 20th, 2015 and pay for mileage and meals.
· Rubble Site
o Discussion on when to change hours- Wed 3-6; Sat. 1-4. Daylight savings November 1st.
· Park
o East Park Playground Update. Revenue & Expense report attached.
o Approve Mayor to sign playground equip. install completion form.
o Review quotes for 5’ sidewalk around equipment.
o Quotes for drinking water fountain attached.
o Alderman Murtha- suggestion on renaming East Park.
o Curbing edge quote for around batting cage. (To be presented at mtg)
6. Update on application submitted for Flood Mitigation Grant. Appraisal needed for grant application. See attached quote from Maas & Associates, Inc.
7. VA Hospital requesting city to waive fee for variance application for Truman Wages handicap ramp permit.
8. Ordinance No. 345- Recompilation of Ordinance Book. (Copy Attached)
Note: The following ordinances have already been included in the new ordinance book, as approved by the council earlier this year. First & Second reading will still need to be done in order to give the public proper notice.
