How it Works?

1. Submit this form and obtain factory authorization for a trial

2. Issue a purchase order for the trial pump that includes the trial authorization number and 90 day trial payment terms.

3. Trial period begins upon shipment from factory. All pump trials must utilize a commonly accepted power monitor such as Wentec, Load Controls, Emotron or similar. Monitors measuring current only are not accepted. An authorized Flowserve representative must verify the proper installation and settings of the power monitor. This includes pump dead head verification resulting in motor shut down.

4. Trial period ends after 90 days. Trial Pump will be accepted and the invoice paid in full upon successful completion of the trial period. The end user has the option to keep the pump in service or have it inspected by a Flowserve authorized representative. Any shipping and decontamination costs associated with the inspection are the responsibility of the end user.

5. The trial pump may be returned for full credit if there is no evidence of dry running, cavitation or other system upset conditions and one or more of the following apply:

a. Trial Pump did not meet original service condition.

b. Trial Pump showed evidence of chemical attack on “internal” parts.

c. Trial Pump showed abnormal wear on “internal” parts.

d. Trial Pump failed due to faulty workmanship or defective parts.

All trial pump failures will be examined in detail by a Flowserve authorized representative in order to determine failure mode.
