Folsom Jr. Bulldog Game Scores- 10/17/15 vs. Antelope Jr. Titans
Mighty Mites 16, Antelope 26
The Jr. Bulldogs suffered their first loss of the season in a well-played and hard-fought defeat. The Jr. Bulldogs were led on offense again by Kayden Hoang and Aric Anderson. Hoang had a 9-yard run and a 60-yard run that both resulted in the only touchdowns the Jr. Bulldogs would score. Michael Seabourn successfully converted both PATs. On the defensive side of the ball the Jr. Bulldogs were led by spectacular Defensive End play by Luke Sorensen. The Jr. Titans were very quick to the outside but plays by Garrett Hicks (fumble recovery), Jordan Triplett, Sorensen, and Anderson (interception), kept them mostly at bay throughout the game.
The 6-1 Jr. Bulldogs received the #2 seed via a coin flip and will play at Woodcreek against the Jr. Timberwolves starting @ 10am next Saturday, October 24.
Jr. Pee Wees 0, Antelope 19
The Jr Pee Wees finished the season 5-3after a loss to anundefeated Antelope team Saturday. The team is looking forward to a rematch against Del Oro inthe first round of the playoffs next week and would like to thank the Jr Pee Wee cheerleaders for theirsupportall season. Thanks to Isabel Clark, Kara Linton, Jewel Marrujo, Averie McCord, Sophia Meixner, Hannah Newberry, Trinity Odestig, AnndreaO’Neel, Alicia Swanty, Serena Santos, Brooklyn Santucci, Kylie Shelley, Brooklyn Try, and Alyx Sharp and best of luck at your competition next week girls,Go Dogs!
Pee Wees 42, Antelope 0
The Pee Wee team finished the regular season undefeated with a 42-0 victory over Antelope on Saturday. The Bulldog defense got things started when Jacob Viega picked up a fumble and ran in for the first score on the day. On the Bulldog next possession Tyler Tremain connected on a 30 yard touchdown pass to Austin McMillan to make it 15-0. The Bulldog defense turned the ball back over to their offense and Josh Tremain scored from 25 yards out to make it 22-0 at half. McMillan then took the kick-off back to make it 29-0 to start the 3rd quarter. Justin Arnaz had a solid day rushing for 2 touchdowns to close out the win for the Bulldogs. The Pee Wee team would like to thank all of the parents and fans who supported them this year. The Pee Wee cheerleading squad did a great job this season and a special thanks to Mariah Andreotti , Megan Barstow, Ashley Benendict, Kylie Dunn, Olivia Ellison, Marissa Frederick, Julia Mann, Emma Martinez, MaddieMcclintic, Jordan McGirr, Aimee Olson, Ariel Reyes, Alexis Schreur, and Rena Simon. Jr. Midgets14, Antelope 32
The Folsom Jr. Bulldog Jr. Midgets lose to the Antelope Jr. Titans 32-14 finishing their regular season with a 4-3 record. The Jr. Titans offense proved to be too much as they would score 5 touchdowns from over 40 yards out. Malik Jackson would score Folsom's 1st touchdown as he would receive a Gitsham pass from 32 yards out. David Clark III would score the Jr. Bulldogs 2nd touchdown as he would run it in from 10 yards out. Jackson would also add an interception as well as an onside kick recovery. The Jr. Bulldogs did advance to the playoffs as the 3 seed and battles Del Oro this Saturday.
Midgets 38, Antelope 0
The Folsom Jr. Bulldogs midgets completed the regular season 8-0 with a 38-0 win over Antelope. The Bulldog offense came out hot, scoring on the second play, when Brady Huddlestun connected with Tiler Fears from 20 yards out. On the next possession, Chris Catalano scored on an 8 yard run to give Folsom a 16-0 lead. Folsom extended their 1st quarter lead when Max Simmons found Tim Bolyard from a yard out to extend the lead to 22-0. In the second quarter, Max Simmons connected to Luke Simmons on a 17 yard touchdown. CJ Hutton ended the first half on a 95 yard interception return to give the Bulldogs a 38-0 lead at halftime. The Simmons brothers connected again in the second half. The Bulldog defense held Antelope to zero yards in regulation play. The Bulldogs are the number one seed and have a first round bye in the playoffs. Folsom hosts the second round on Oct. 31 at Folsom High School.
