Pre-requisites:

QuickBooks FC 10.0 (For Windows XP machine only)
Installation Instructions:
Unzip the setup file.
Open the Setup folder and double click on the setup.exe file, then the Excel Journal Import Utility installation screen will appear.
As shown in the above screen, click on Next button
Make sure to select “Everyone” radio button then click on Next button
Click on Next button to continue the installation process.
The application will get installed within a few seconds.
Click on the Close button to complete the installation process
Folder Permissions:
If you are using Windows 7 - 64 bit operating system in your computer, make sure to provide access rights to the EST folder in the installed path “C:\Program Files (x86)”.
Goto “C:\Program Files (x86)” Right click on EST folder Properties Click on Security tab Click on Edit button Click on Add button Type “Everyone” in the text box then click OK as shown below
Select all Allow-check boxes to provide access to the folder, then click on the Apply button & Ok button to save the changes
QuickBooks Connection Establishment:
Now the NPE-QB Sync utility can be launched from the shortcut created in the desktop screen.
Enter the Organisation name and the License key then click on Next button.
To retrieve these log into NPE and go to Settings -> Organization Information.
The License Key will be the API Key in NPE.
The QuickBooks configuration settings screen will appear.
The selected QBW company file path info will be displayed in the Company File Path text box.
Click on the Verify button to establish a connection between QuickBooks and the utility.
A certificate will be displayed in the QuickBooks company file.
Select the “Yes, always;” radio button then click on the Continue button.
Once you click on the continue button, another window will be displayed to confirm the access.
Click on “Yes” option, then “Done” button in the subsequent window.
Once you complete the QuickBooks connection establishment, a success message will be displayed in the utility window.
Sync Scheduler – Settings:
Click on the Sync settings tab in the QB settings window, to set the sync timings.
Sync mode can be set to either Manual or Automatic.
An auto-Sync option provides options for Daily, Weekly and Monthly sync.
Create Sales Receipt:
Once you complete the configuration, the utility will connect the QuickBooks customers and NPE customers.
Users can match the QuickBooks customers name against the NPE customers name as desired by clicking on the Map button.
Once customer matching is done, click on the Next button.
The sync will be done per the scheduled settings and Sales Receipt will be created in the QuickBooks file.
Click on the Fetch Payments button, in case of any manual payments fetch.
The results of the Sales Receipt creation process will be available in the log window.
The Log window can be accessed by clicking on the View Log link at the right bottom of the utility.
The results will be displayed in the Application Log section.
Any exceptions or error messages will be displayed in the Error Log section.
Log entries can be cleared with the Clear Log link at the right top.
Uninstall Instructions:
You can uninstall the application from your computer if you no longer use it or if you want to free up space on your hard disk.
You can use Programs and Features in the Control Panel to uninstall the application
Open Programs and Features by clicking the Start button, clicking Control Panel, clicking Programs, and then clicking Programs and Features.
Select the NPE-QB Sync utility name in the provided list, and then click Uninstall. Application will get uninstalled from the computer within few seconds.
